NathanYear 2853 | Month 6 | Day 26

I only vaguely pay attention to his words since they’re just Class A magicians. Not Class S magicians.

Still. There are a few interesting people announced.

There’s one Class A magician who is just twenty-seven years old. An absolute genius of a magician. One whose understanding of her affinity is enough to alter her body.

She understands her poison affinity so much that people can get poisoned just from touching her skin. And she herself is immune to poison.

Her understanding is so great that it’s better than a lot of Class S poison affinity magicians.

Other than her, there’s also a couple other magicians who are extremely talented. It’s just that they aren’t quite as talented as her.

Both are twenty-nine years old, and their understanding of their affinities aren’t anywhere near hers.

Still. They’re talented enough to remember.

After a while of Blade talking about the Class A magicians, he finally dismisses them. At which point the stadium begins to shift into various different platforms, and Blade changes to talk about the Warriors instead of the Class S magicians.

The Class S magicians are the main event, after all, so we go in last.

First he introduces the First, Second, and Third Stage Warriors who are all in a single bracket. Then he introduces the Fourth Stage Warriors, who have their own bracket. Followed by the Fifth Stage Warriors. And the Sixth Stage Warriors.

As for the Seventh Stage Warriors? They aren’t competing.

There are only two of them, and one of them isn’t even here at the tournament. So they can’t really compete.

That said, Blade does at least introduce the Seventh Stage Warrior of the Empire. He is a member of the Empire after all, which is the host of this tournament.

It would be weird if they didn’t introduce him.

The man himself has long black hair, with equally black eyes, and way too many weapons scattered across his body. Swords, great swords, axes, great axes, sabers, knives, daggers, spears, pikes, and even throwing stars.

He looks completely bogged down with them, and it’s kind of overwhelming to see.

Also, he doesn’t say a word despite jumping down from a VIP booth above to land on the platform. All he does is nod his head before jumping back up again.

Then I get a call from the organizers telling me that the Class S magicians will be called in soon, so I should be ready for my appearance.

Despite the call, I just continue watching the screen with my hands in my pockets. Because the Class S magicians enter differently from the others.

“Now! It is time for what everyone has been waiting for!” Blade shouts, his voice containing even more excitement than when he was introducing the Class A magicians. And the audience roars louder than I’ve ever heard before. So loud that I can hear it clearly even from this sound-proofed room. “Let us welcome the  Class S magicians competing in the Arcane Crown!”

The roar of the audience grows even louder upon his words, meanwhile magicians begin to appear one by one across the platform.

Every last one of them enters in their own way.

Some of them fly in while coated in entire storms of flames, others rush in through a flood of water, or even a flood of poison. Some of them emerge from shadows on the ground, and others just fall from the sky and land on the platform.

And the audience goes wild with every entrance.

Even the more moderate entrances get a lot of attention.

Of course, the Class S magicians do still have an order of entry. One that is based on a mixture of how powerful they are and how well-known they are.

My entry time is set to be with the last five at the same time as them.

Crimson, the Spirit Ruler, the Lord of Twilight, the Mage of Storms, and me.

All five of us are the last ones to show up.

“Now we welcome the five favorites to win the main event of the Arcane Crown!!!” Blade shouts, his voice echoing through the stadium. “The Class SS magician of our very own Empire, the Spirit Ruler, Cecilia Rose Falthorn!!”

The audience immediately bursts into roaring applause at his words.

The Spirit Ruler creates a dream realm that appears on the platform that she then manifests from.

“Next is the Class SS magician of the Republic, the Lord of Twilight, Twilight!!!” Blade continues as the roaring of the audience continues.

The Lord of Twilight just appears amidst a sudden area doused in twilight.

“Followed by the pseudo-Class SS magician of the Melcians, the Mage of Storms, Drake Veldrebore!!!” Blade says without missing a beat.

The Mage of Storms appears in the form of a bolt of lightning.

“And someone no one could ever forget,” Blade changes his method of introduction amidst the ever increasing cheers. “Crimson, the Grandmaster of the Magic Towers and most powerful magician in the world!”

And Crimson moves in the form of blood that turns into a massive tornado before gradually shrinking to form his body above the platform.

“Finally, last but certainly not least,” Blade says after a brief pause as the audience grows more and more wild. “I introduce to you all the Undying Magician of the Eternal Continents, Master of the Eternal Tower and only immortal magician in existence!”

I teleport directly into the stadium onto the platform with my hands still in my pockets using spatial magic.

And the moment I do, the crowd loses it. Some mages begin firing off bolts of fire in the form of fireworks above the stadium, and others scream in excitement.

I can’t help but feel surprised at their incredible enthusiasm, but I don’t show it on my face as I take one hand from my pocket and casually wave to them all.

Which only makes the cheers grow louder.

This is unexpected.

Guess I’m more popular than I thought.
