A couple of days from now, we're getting married.
For now, without all the dresses, ceremonies, and guests - just me, Gary, and a judge (or whoever in America is responsible for officially informing us that there's no turning back now))).
Am I nervous? Maybe a little.
Do I think anything will change after we get married? I don't think so. Nothing will change except my last name - I'll be Ms. Yuliia Slip Sumner. I should probably at least learn how to sign it beautifully.)))
And please don't congratulate us in advance - let's not jinx it. Who knows, maybe Gary will still change his mind. He has a couple of days left, and I respect his right to one last chance😆🥲)))
But here's something that has surprisingly started creeping into my head over the past few weeks - this weird feeling of insecurity. That I'm not worthy of a man like him. That one day he'll stop loving me. That he'll regret ever choosing me.
Basically, the wedding hasn't even happened yet, but my brain has already decided to organize its own ceremony. Except instead of guests, we have anxiety, impostor syndrome, and a host with a microphone asking, "But are you suuuure he loves you?")))
Smells like I might have some issues in this little head of mine, haha.
And yes, I'm actually not joking about this part. These are thoughts I've genuinely been having from time to time lately. Excellent timing, brain. Thank you. Exactly what I needed a couple of days before getting married.)))
