I apologize for my last post with self-portraits.

I will no longer publish photos of which I am not sure. This is the moment when inspiration has disappeared and nothing helps to bring it back.

It's just that at some point I felt the obligation to publish my self-portraits every week. And this sense of duty turned my self-portraits into work and routine.

I know that all this is just in my head, and you support me here not as a mechanical person who takes pictures simply by pressing a button, you support me as a creator and artist. And you all understand.

I just wanted to share my thoughts.

P.S  in the next post with self-portraits, I will tell you how I learned to see light

Thank you for posting your honest thoughts. I realize you will have a personal point of view on your previous post from an artistic stance, but for the record they are beautiful pictures. I will not say you should be proud of them, because you are the artist here and will feel how you feel about your own work, but as a spectator and fan, I very much enjoyed the posts. As a patreon creator myself, I very much understand the feeling of duty that you are speaking of. At some point, something you love doing becomes almost ritualistic to make sure you do not let your patrons down. I'm not sure if this gives any comfort, but I can tell you that my experience has been that during the month, choosing to take in other art from other artists has proven to be beneficial because it becomes motivation for me to strive and be better. As I said, I'm not sure if that helps at all, but just know that we as your patrons support you because of your artistic eye for beauty. Whether it be in the form of self-portraits, which are staggeringly beautiful by the way, or in the form of other models you have taken the time with and allow yourself to get caught up in the moment.

Some of us love your photos Julia and want you to feel good but not pressured to produce. We can savor your earlier work over and over. New is also good. But take your own "sweet time.'

Take your time dear to do it as it feels right for you. This is very important in art. But here in theses photos there’s something different of how you see your art and I think it’s really great. Go on your path and please feel free. ♥️
