Amazing model, amazing shots! There are so many things I like about these, but the thing that really caught my attention was the role of the panties in these shots. In some of your texts and photos I get the impression that you mostly prefer to shoot without any underwear or lingerie, but there are also a couple of sets where lingerie does play a big and obvious role, especially in the sets shot for a designer. In these the panties are quite low key, plain and simple (and I don't know who designed them) but they really envelop and define the hips, waist and thighs of the model in the shots (especially 3-6, 15 & 18). They rise high on the leg, accentuating the natural curves and lines on her body that stay outside of them while at the same time revealing the shapes of what is covered. They allow bringing a bit of playfulness into the shots, but it's clear this is not adult entertainment. It's kind of brilliant. At the same time it's obvious that these are art in and of themselves and not a commercial shoot or instrumental to any other purpose. I was wondering if this was coincidental or something you planned into the shots? It all seems so natural and effortless elegance with your work it's hard to tell.

In fact, it was a spontaneous filming. I was visiting a friend in Odessa. We see each other very rarely, but this does not prevent us from staying close enough. And at some point, I just offered her to take a picture without hope of consent, because I know that she is quite shy and conservative. And she took it and agreed, but asked to be in panties. The comfort of the model is above all) I'm not really against linen ... BUT - it should be as neutral as possible, not to attract attention to itself. + a large amount of underwear that is produced in the modern world is very sexy - laces, harnesses, stones, bows, nets ... in such underwear you can't see a woman, you can't see her true emotional state. My task is to show a person through the body, not through underwear.

Interesting! That makes so much sense and is in line with that I've heard when talking about photography and lingerie with a friend. As much as I appreciate beautiful lingerie, it steals from the model's role in the photos. It's a different kind of a shot. To show the person, underwear must be neutral. A bit like leading and supporting roles in a movie. What I really admire and what makes your photos interesting is indeed how they show the person. Persons are unique and complex, soulful beings while material things created by machines are just material things. People can use such things to build an image of themselves, but it's not their truest, deepest self. I think even as props things of the nature (that you seem to use often) like flowers are more interesting than items from the store.
