YouTube Mini: Hasan Piker's Merch Drop (Patreon)

Andy the editor, has been given the video recording of the recent supplemental material episode and is busy beavering away to make little mini-video segments that we will put out as videos and upload after to the YouTube channel. These take time to make, and various content is inappropriate for video format, but some of it will be. So we are experimenting. We've given Andy scope to play about with editing and here's what he came up with for the Hasan merch drop segment.Let us know what you think!

Ive heard Chris take quite a few times and still don’t buy it. Theres nothing wrong with Piker making his presence sustainable. He has critiques of capitalism but to my knowledge doesn’t identify as anti capitalist. He identifies as socialist but socialism isn’t the current prevailing economic model so what is he supposed to do? It’s so much easier to make money as a right wing grifter and he hasn’t drifted right. HP is competing with the likes of Tim Poole and the right wingers aren’t going to pack it all in if HP cant sustain is presence. I just don’t feel selling merch is the same as JP selling useless qualifications. No one listens to a poor figure.

It fits so well! Side-bar, I love that movie. Watched it with my kids earlier this year, youngest 9 - don't judge me... But who wouldn't laugh at "you can dere-leek my balls, cap-e-tan". Gold.

The comments are great! Apparently you have a misunderstanding of socialism!! It is fine to commodify as long as you use unionised workers and donate money to strike funds!!! You have the understanding of a 5 year old!!!! I really don't think American Universities have been infiltrated by the left enough. They really need to get their heads round class. I couldn’t find anything on Hasan’s Idealogie site about how he has the clothes made. Union shops? Sweatshop-made blank shirts with union printing? Upcycled thrifted shirts silkscreened by Hasan fanboyz? (I am a curious comrade crone.)
