We examine the 1,000-word tweet defence by reactionary tech entrepreneur Balaji Srinivasan, where he attempts to argue that Huberman was actually more correct than the out-of-touch 'elites' when he made an elementary mistake in his discussion of probability.

Also, there is some discussion of the unacknowledged incentives of contrarianism.

Hat tip to editor Andy as always on his thumbnail game!

Balaji is maybe the most obnoxious and pedantic person in the guru sphere. He consistently says the most banal things in the most over written way.

The little piece of music that occasionally plays on these episodes, like when the tweet is being shown, always makes me laugh.

But surely there's a more direct way to demonstrate this. Just ask parents how many times they had to have sex to get pregnant. Not many people get 100% pregnant in 5 tries! One of my guy friends told me if younger him had known how hard it is to get someone pregnant when your actually trying, he would have been a lot less worried when he was single and playing the field!
