Not gonna lie, I'm pretty excited about this. My initial impression of manager guy was who is this JAQ-off. But having listened to a few, I have to give him some credit for dragging some actual answers out of Sam. I'm still hanging in there with a waking up subscription. I like-listen and hate-listen, and a family member has found his meditation app helpful with PTSD/depression.

His hands are in the JAQing off position

That is a great graphic and love that movie. 👌

Matt’s camera has some spots on it. Every timer I watch a video of dtg I wipe my tablet when he appears. CLEAN YOUR CAMERA, MATT! I’m sick of wiping my perfectly clean (almost) tablet!

Hilarious thumbnail. Having Sam as the devil definitely won't help relations with him but fuck it

Why in *the fuck* would I want to listen to Sam Harris' manager? OK, so the idea here is that the manager just acts as a foil to coax out Sam's opinions which is what we are all here for. Right? Well, those are just words. What is actually *happening*? Sam has a podcast that has a huge reach and has had a reputation in the past for being quite high-brow and interviewing a lot of smart people in an in-depth way. That's the reputation, and it was a fairly well deserved one actually say 5 years ago. It had flaws but it wasn't bad. So, now this guy, Sam's manager, has found a way onto this podcast, and now we are listening to *him*. That is what is happening here. This guy is on the podcast giving us his bullshit opinions! That's what it is. In the words of Robert DeNiro in the Deer Hunter: "This is this. This ain't something else. This is this". In terms of the content of the discussion it seems designed to push Harris into line in terms of what his Silicon Valley Bro audience thinks he should think. Sam, and his manager, are guruing *hard* these days, just look at the comments on his substack. "More from Sam" Jesus wept.

Judging from the comments on YouTube; DtG's observations hit too close to home for Sam Haris enjoyers. Great episode

Is Sam asks for questions. I shall ask, ‘What is the best nickname for you and why is it Genocidal Meditator?’

Rarely have I seen somebody with such an American face as Sam's manager

Brink

He has no name. He is simply "Sam Harris's manager". This is how he should always be referred to.

On the thumbnail: I'm not sure having Sam as the devil makes the most sense. Shouldn't it be someone whose position the manager relays to Sam? Like ultimately Trump? That would fit much better imo because the issue is not that Sam is evil but that he is confused and tends to hang out with "evil" people.

I lasted twenty mins on this. Sam's business manager (title suggests Sam now has an entourage) makes my skin crawl tbh.

Thats a good pic

That movie was terrible. Someone just said “Al Pacino as Satan will sell, let’s not worry about the rest!”
