This was a really, really good podcast. I commented on another post that I didn’t understand how Chris could say the media didn’t make such a huge deal about saying the lab leak was racist. The articles I read were the same ones Jesse referenced (and some more). But now I see how there may have been a disconnect. When Matt made that comment about science and activism, I was like, wow. brave. Question: do you guys think the fact you live in Australia and Japan might ground you a bit more and make you less worried? I feel stuff has really gone off the rails In the States. PS I think a lot of Jesses fans are more your type of fans and not James Lindsay fans. Progressive means something different to everyone. But that’s just a hunch.
