We've reached cat 5 in Florida. If you believe in prayer, please do it.

If you know anyone with a giant laser pointer, kindly ask them to use it and redirect this kitty, please.Fourth storm to weather this year in Tampa. 5th if you count Burnsville NC, which I do, and there's still no power, water, or communications in our tiny WNC town that's been decimated.

At this point, no plans to evacuate Tampa Bay. We are preparing now...and hope our neighbors will clean up the debris to keep everyone safe (including themselves), but we've low expectations. And yeah, FEMA still hasn't come to pick up debris from our last storm.

So, there's boarding up to do as well.

(Fun FL fact: You need a $200 permit to replace a single window or door here, before the cost of the window, which must be hurricane-rated and costs about 4x as much as most anywhere else.)

We can all try to pray it away. It's worked before...hell, it can't hurt.

The A Show podcast is canceled for tomorrow/Tues due to the storm and prep.

A few hurricane tips you may not have considered if you're in the path of Milton: Open your gate doors if you have a fence to allow winds to pass through. Charge old phones for an additional light source. Fill tubs with water and washing machines with ice/drinks. Clean your house, change cat litter, and wash sheets...if you're without power, it may get funky fast. Trim branches, move EVERYTHING that can become a projectile inside. Sandbag doors. You can use bags of soil as an alternative.Get solar lights charged. Get everything charged. Freeze stuff. Turn the fridge to the coldest level.

I am spending a phenomenal amount of time, energy, and money prepping or handling things that don't seem the least bit natural. These storms don't seem natural. And I don't believe they are. Their paths aren't normal. In the case of NC, the reason you seldom hear about hurricanes in the mountains is because mountains kill hurricanes. Land slows the storm...mountains stop it. Hurricans are heat-generated events...cool weather and cool water also slow/stop it. Nothing about Helene was normal or natural. And the path for Milton is looking the same.Weather modification, geoengineering, HAARP, patents for hurricane creation/control, and cloud seeding exist. They've been around for a while now and have already been used Weather control is the perfect weapon. Nuclear is so messy and land is so unusable afterwards.

Ho Chi Min trail was kept in an extended monsoon so supplies wouldn't reach them during Vietnam, thanks to real-life application of weather modification.

(And of course, we annihilated all their supplies.)The last time the media spent this much time and energy pushing to call something "disinfo/conspiracy theory" they were assuring us all the vax was 100% "safe and effective" and "stopped the spread"...and there were zero side effects.
