Let me echo back some of what I hear you saying. Events have made you care even more about Lucifer/Chloe, Maze, Maze/Linda and Linda/Amenadiel while seeing Caine as a selfish manipulator of all around him? What could that possibly be setting up?? 😁😎🤷‍♂️ Very much looking forward to finding out

Love your passionate reactions to this and to Cain! He is obviously devious and has his own agenda. It is an uncomfortable ride this one in the story but hang on tightly. I have to admit Tom Ellis does the angst and confused hurt feelings so well as Lucifer tries to come to terms with the situation and just wants Chloe to be happy even if it means he is pushed further away- it's heart-breaking. I remember wishing so much on first watching this season that Luci could sort his own feelings out and stop struggling with human emotions that are flooding through him. A difficult plot line at the moment, but as I look back at it now and re-watch with you, watching for the first time, I realise that maybe Luci needed to go through these more difficult situations in order to grow and understand himself. I love the character Charlotte at this point and it interesting to see how she copes with what she now knows is the truth. I hope you will enjoy her story arc. At this time Maze's story arc is very upsetting as she struggles to feel that she has any place in this human world...like Luci, she seems to be finding it impossible to cope with all the new emotions flooding in and her emotionally vulnerable state looks like easy prey to Cain to further whatever plans he might have to...what was it he said...'Just get rid of the cat' ?

Re-watching this show with you is such a pleasure! I'm catching all the little details this time, like the final shot where Pierce/Cain promises to work with Maze, and the "BUS" sign flickers and briefly turns into "B S" (for "bullshit", obviously).
