My god, the raw emotions from these pages. Lucky's progressive spiral as more and more emotions start to spill out about self-hatred and abandonment issues, and as this was happening, it seemed like his abilities were starting to well up as well. I'm happy Nova is trying her hardest to be in Lucky's corner, even with him pushing her away, and she noticed how bad Lucky's mental health was from the first look at him. Her methods are direct and a bit heavy-handed, but she really does care about him and is trying to understand why Lucky is like this. I absolutely love these pages and I can't wait to see the next batch!

This just reinforces my idea that his dad never showed Lucky the note that Angel left behind or explained to Lucky the whole situation. Most likely because Lucky was young at the time, but none the less it should've been something that he wouldve brought up by now. Lucky's anger towards Angel is understandable but highly unnecessary. I hope in the end there can be a cure for her and she can return to Lucky and his dad.

Nova the proper response was a hug. Also bro chasing abandonment issues makes sense, but the chief would have almost certianly known that with a background check. That's so much worse. Also what could the connection be between the achademy personnel and his mom dissappering, unless the idea is she is someone the authorities would be pursuing. In which case, cheif again would know this information and knows just how much pix is going to tear lucky to pieces. Last, If you your going drag something out of someone else, dont immediately follow it up with a punishment, makes it unlikely they will come to u. 7.5/10

Nice touch that the slap left two scratches, because of how Nova's claws are Definitely gonna leave a mark, but Lucky needs that snap-out. Desperately. (Gonna just add this I'm so incredibly invested in this comic and the worldbuilding and the characters and….well, a lot, lot more. Great art style, and I love every little detail.
