I love this I’ve listened to this so many time but I swear there was another part to this but can’t seem to find them so maybe I just imagined it

Doses of M.O. Sass

It's endearing to hear Aran express his feelings towards the listener about how they first met in part 1. I'm liking his character development. He's super cute. 😊 The ending tho!🤩

Wonderful audio! It was interesting and fun and like always your acting and sound design are amazing! Love how much lore is in there and I am very excited for everything in the future! 😍

This is hands down my new favorite audio Tom holy cow!!! I am such a sucker for amazing story telling, it was one of the reasons why I drawn to what used to be Strings in the first place. Love the change in Dialogue (I know I said this on Twitch but I have to mention it again), the way Aranath rambles and back peddles sounds really natural. The lines that made me laugh out loud were; "I ran so fast that I flew past you, fweush" and "Hey I am a nice guy with magical powers and red wings!!" Also Hello!!! We have powers too?! Heck yes I love that! Cannot wait for part 3 Tom, I'm so excited!!!!

Tori Carter

Loved the back and forth of "I won't say what I saw because I wanna know if you saw what I saw." It is very clear that he is nervous about how his true power affects his relationships and it most likely affected them in the past. It's a great subtle bit of characterization. This is another great audio!

You totes have powers! What will it be like as a young sorceress in training, dating a stressed out cambion with a target on his head? 😱

WE HAVE FUCKING POWERS?????? FUCK YEAH!!!! No but in all seriousness, I was so engrossed in the story line that I hadn't realized it was ending and was upset to find that I had reached the end of the audio. Another beautifully done piece, and though I don't comment a lot, I'm always listening. Keep creating, you're doing amazing. Thank you!

Love the storyline, the conversation and feelings. When the shield broke, my fantasy continued a storyline. I had the idea, just in that moment, the listener, was ready too show and tell (a secret, like being a light and still haven’t found out, what that means) But when the shield broke, instead had too get the sensory system in order. It wasn’t the first time running from that thing. And from there, it’s like a tree, with all it’s greens. Choosing the part too follow. Great work. Can’t wait for part 3

Sweet pajamas, Tom!!!! I swore I was going to stop posting comments here at 3 and 4am, because I ramble so much, but I just had to. I’m sorry. I’ve listened to this audio multiple times today and every single thing about this is perfect to me. The score, the background sounds and effects, the plot, the rollercoaster of funny moments and emotional moments and your acting. I love how I immediately had a picture in my mind of where they were and what was going on around them the moment the audio started, hearing the birds outside and the commotion of first responders and other people in the distance. The music throughout the whole thing was so great, but I especially loved the changes during the part when Aranath’s wings came out. That scene was awesome. Full disclosure - I’m completely obsessed with his wings and all of their sounds in general. You caught me hook, line and sinker with the dampened sounds and heartbeat when we were inside his wing-cocoon-hug during “Take Me There” and my wing obsession happily continues in this one thanks to you. I understand that it’s what you do (sound design, editing, etc), but it still never ceases to amaze me how the sounds you select, how you choose to smuck them together and fade them in and out of each other, plus your acting can actually paint such a clear, detailed picture of a sequence of events in my mind, like Aranath’s wings bursting through his skin and then stretching full out and flexing once they’re released…plus the smaller little flaps we hear as they finally settle into their natural place. Ahhh! It’s ridiculously impressive. I was honestly full out, teeth showing, ear to ear smiling through almost this entire audio. The Banter-banter(TM) is always a favourite of mine and it was superb (not surprisingly) and Aran’s occasional awkwardness and word stumbling was completely adorable. Trying to cover up the flying comment at the beginning. The kissing part and his rapid, “No no NO NO! I want! l LIKE!!!” I laughed so hard at that. Plus the whole“I’m a nice guy” rant and the wing babysitting remarks. LOL All so good. When he was talking about his wings though and said “They’re not meant to be hidden… it just hurts…on a lot of different levels” Ugh! Talk about an emotional gut punch. Plus him talking about his mother and father and not wanting to be discovered and spend his life being experimented on. I really enjoyed seeing the different sides of Aran and getting more insight into him. I definitely didn’t see the twist at the end coming so that was a great surprise and ending with the speed-casting comment was hilarious. These two Party Tricks audios have actually reminded me of a magick/romance/action trilogy I read about 15 years ago. I remember they had fun characters (3 brothers) each with different magick abilities. I’m going to dive into my giant collection of books tomorrow and see if I can find them to tide me over while we all wait for more of Aranath’s story. 💜 Your stories may have ruined these books for me though. You’ve set the bar super high, Tom. Thank you. 🌷

I'm flattered you listened multiple times! lol Aran's wing reveal was a favorite of mine, the swell in the orchestra is so moving. I also like the swell when he gets kissed. YOU REMEMBER THE WING COCOON! lol I need to work that into an episode because I love doing it. Aran's path gets really dark, so we're keeping it light right now, but as we move into his wings, his father, and his mother, and The Stranger, we will get Kieran-levels dark. So glad you enjoyed this!

I am really glad that you are enjoying this and it has been vivid enough for you to continue the story in your own imagination. That’s incredibly flattering for the creator and I’m grateful that you gave this a listen. Thank you!

Yes you have powers! lol I wasn’t sure how people would receive that but so far I think people are reacting favorably. this is definitely some storytelling that diverges a little bit from my usual even for me so I am happy that people are listening. Thank you!

Aranath is a principle player in the Continuum, he’ll definitely be around even after Party Tricks ends!

I'll be over here catching my breath, don't mind me 😅🥰

So glad he was able to find her! I hope to see more of his story!
