Yes! that's super young Lucy Liu! The character blames herself because presumably she has HIV but in the child the HIV already developed to full blown AIDS. So the child is sicker then her. 10 years ago when I last rewatched ER I had only very junior job experiences and did not care for either Kerry or Susan enough to worry about their conflict. I have since worked under a few "Kerry's" (and at least one pushover like Mark was this ep ;)). So this time I fear I am blind to arguments and will just keep Susan's side. Is it logical? Probably not :D
