I know I commented on this one a lot but this kinda reinforces my theory that Carla only used Benton because she wanted a baby and had no intention of keeping him in the baby's life, until she needed him and his expertise. I know I know ... but there's just something about Carla that really irks me. And I feel so bad for Peter, I know he's trying his best. About Carter, It's a difficult decision to rat on a colleague, Dale he's also an intern and despite being a dick, he's proven to be a good surgeon, and by ratting him out he could have literary kicked him out of his residency. I guess this is where his empathetic side took over and decided to give him a final chance with the promise of burying him if he does something like this again. Carol is very wishy washy as a person but it does fit her character. Her own mother said it best, Carol does not love herself enough to appreciate that she's enough the way she is in her current job and she's great at it. This does feel like a dragged storyline but the ending does also feel like growth on her part.
