JSB

I will say watching you guys I feel like I missed so many scenes. There’s so much I seen on here than I did on my first watch through!

JSB
>>133692520

also please show full reactions to csm endings😱

P. smth

you need to watch the way he says "my best friend" at the end in the original version! that is one of the top 5 moments for many in all of JJK

Jinchuriki87

The Todo/yuji dynamic is so fun...y'all are in for a treat in just a few episodes! Thanks for answering my question!!!

Addy

Clarification on the Juju Stroll - They aren’t saying that Gojo has a thing for Miwa. That would be problematic to say the least. Gojo and Utahime are having a separate conversation and not answering the question (They are talking amongst themselves and aren’t facing the interviewer). He’s probably telling her about the student that asked to take a picture with him. However, the choice to put this scene in the “What’s your type?” montage is still interesting. Even though he’s not saying Miwa (the high schooler) is his type, it could be implying that Gojo’s type is someone “nice and with cool bangs”… or just silly nonsense!

Kenny I love the Tom and Jerry sweater 🤣 that’s such on brand for you haha

Addy

Also if you’re loving these visuals, music, etc stay excited for season 2! Everything just keeps getting better!

Juan Solo

I just love how the Jennifer Lawrence bit ended up having plot relevance 😆

I'd honestly recommend they watch the blu ray version (like others have been suggesting), but I'm not sure if it includes the english dub.

The blu-ray clips are really amazing but I don’t think it’s dubbed unfortunately

THE NOTIFICATION SENT LATE!!

Rob Carlstrom

I'm so happy Kenny loves the music and mentioned it. The ost of this show bangs

Mekar

"Oh he said 'Wrog...'" is a top 10 joke. I laughed pretty hard at that one

I noticed parts of Remember while Yuji was getting jumped by the Kyoto class and, of course, Todo's theme when he rolled up. Both OSTs just stand out as so powerful.

Eileen Hinman

Omg I’ve never noticed that in the dream sequence Todo imagines Yuji in a uniform like his own. He’s so ridiculous I love it lmaoo

I feel like he was genuinely trolling Utahime by making her think he was talking about her

WhateverIFeelLike

Gojo’s type isn’t Miwa he was telling Utahime which student he took a picture with, it’s just cut to look like that as a joke The interesting thing about Todo calling Yuji his best friend, or besto friendo in the original, is that it’s not just the fact that they have the same taste in women it’s that Todo respects Yuji’s abilities. We’ve seen that Todo respects strong fighters, and that he doesn’t respect people who he considers to have bad taste. When he asked Megumi he said it was fine if Megumi was into men so we don’t really know what Todo’s criteria is for good and bad taste just the one example we have for each. We also don’t know how he would respond to someone weak who has what he considers to be good taste

Dazani Szewcik

Todo "My new besto friendo"and then it goes straight to "brother" in the next few episodes

Logan Midgett

Best part of this episode was Montana giving that precious kitty chin scratches. Don't @ me I am not entertaining arguments at this time.

The English VAs simply don't deliver as good a performance as the originals. The most egregious is when Gojo cracks cursed technique reversal: red the first time vs Jogo. The original is raw AF, Gojo's VA's usual playful demeanor is replaced by a monotoned explanation and a seriousness. Contrasting the English VA delivers the line as if he's an overly enthusiastic science teacher.

Franklin

Yuji activates Charles vi Britannia's cursed technique: False Memories of a False Life!

I mean in your OPINION... I don't understand how people don't realize one or the other isnt better or worse it's literally ONLY an opinion... that's it. Everyone has a preference personally I prefer the sub too, but I also don't crap on the English voice actors or people's preferences because in my opinion that's just elitist BS. Trying to make everyone agree with your opinion is just anarchy LOL it's stupid. Let people like what they like

Plus You realize that in Japan this same conversation happens with American cartoons right? Like they watch American cartoons in English with Japanese subtitles and say the same things that subtitle anime elitists say about anime here... Which proves my point that it's a pointless argument over OPINIONS

I just love Todo having a whole thing in his head about them and then deciding Yuuji has seen all of that too.
