Judge Grant

I just wanted to comment it might be better to watch the episodes 1-7 of season 2 then watch the movie so it’s in complete order. It helped my friends better

Justin Spencer

How do you guys feel about Yuta now that you know him better and what do you think his place in the anime will be moving forward. This works for after movie although it can be half way as well to some extent

Luis Guillermo Carranza

After movie: Gege (author) initially thought of Yuta as the protagonist instead of Yuji but ended up having the latter, how do you think the story would have changed?

Addy

Half 1 - There seems to be a lot of tension between Gojo and Geto when Geto shows up at Jujutsu High. Did you expect them to know each other? Earlier, Gojo picked up his cursed energy residuals by scent saying he could never mistake them and they are even well acquainted enough to call each other by their first names. What vibes are you getting from the interaction and Gojo’s memories that we see after that? What do you think went down between them in the past?

Addy

After movie: After learning more about Geto and his philosophy in the prequel, what do you think of his plans in the present? How do you think he even exists in the present?

Rudy Velazquez

Half 1 and After - what do we think about Rika? After - maki says in s1 she hates playful cloud the red, segmented cursed tool. Do you know why now? After - how do we feel about Gojo after the movie? Does he exude “daddy’s home” energy

Addy

After Movie - In season one, Gojo isn’t really shown to have any close personal relationships. What do you think his relationship with Geto was like in the past for him to still be considered his best and only friend? What do you think Gojo said to him at the end?

Juan Solo

Half 1 – Not a question, but some trivia about JJK0: The manga it's adapted from was originally a one-shot titled "Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical School". It's success led to the creation of its sequel series Jujutsu Kaisen, with the one-shot later being retitled as a prologue/prequel. Which is why you might see comments call Yuta the original main character (which he technically is).

Addy

After Movie - The director of the movie has said that the theme of JJK 0 is love. What are your thoughts on how it portrays love through the different relationships (Yuta and Rika, Yuta and Maki/his classmates, and Gojo and Geto)? As well as Gojo’s statement that “There’s no curse more twisted than love”? (Note: Christmas Eve, when the Night Parade of One Hundred Demons happens, is a romantic holiday in Japan similar to Valentine’s Day.)

Katsuki BakuGOAT

Here's a question for after the movie. At the end of the movie when gojo was speaking with geto the audio cut out. Afterwards geto was taken a back and said that he never held any resentment for those at jujutsu high. What do you it was that gojo said, and how do you view the story so far knowing what occurred before the events of season 1.

Addy

Half 1 - Do you think anything is going on between Yuta and Maki? Any competition for Rika?

Day

After movie: The giant color explosion Rika and Yuta use at the end of the fight 👀 looked a little like hollow purple... do you think it was? if it were, given Yuta's abilities, how do you think he was able to achieve it? do you think that with time he will be as strong as Gojo or even stronger?

Day

Half 1: we get to see a little more Inumaki and his cursed speech technique in the movie. While it does have it's drawbacks (given that he uses throat spray, coughs up blood when reaching his limit, etc), what thoughts do you have about cursed speech in general? Do you think the drawbacks are worth it?

Juan Solo

After movie – After seeing what Yuta is capable of at an early stage in his career as a sorcerer, what role do you think he'll play in the story moving forward, if/when he returns?

Katsuki BakuGOAT

Half 1. In season 1 of jjk panda said that toge was a little more open whenever yuta was around. When they were sent on the job together, Yuta understood the way toga spoke quite quickly and afterwards panda spoke with him about how toge might be feeling the same as yuta. How do you think the friendship that formed between them helped Yuta nd toge to grow as a individuals and as curse users?

Chase Reynolds

After Movie — Yuta was originally going to be the main protagonist of JJK, but the author of the series decided to scrap that idea, as he didn't want to have his main protagonist be too overpowered. which led to the creation of Yuji’s character. I'm curious about y’all’s opinions on this decision and whether or not you’d have rather seen Yuta as the MC than Itadori.

Day

After movie: in season 1 Gojo mentioned a few students he thought were powerful enough to surpass him, Yuta Okkotsu included, after seeing his cursed technique of essentially "copy and paste" of other techniques, do you think Yuta will be stronger than Gojo in the future? What about Yuji, do you think Yuji can become as strong as Yuta like Gojo predicted?

I respectfully disagree. If anything they should have watched the movie first since that was the first piece of work that gege ever wrote but the anime only watchers should watch it in the canonical order that it came out. It's not a bad thing to be a little confused if the reward of putting it together and analyzing the media pays off. I mean isayama did the same thing by letting us see what eren really went through in Marley at the very end of season 4 instead of showing us at the beginning. It leaves room for critical thinking, analysis and thought-provoking conversation. You don't have to know all of the answers to a puzzle before putting it together that just takes the fun out of it in my opinion. I'm confident enough that Kenny and Montana understand the media enough to be able to get what's going on without having to know everything beforehand. That's in itself a spoiler. Let people figure it out it's okay

Katsuki BakuGOAT

After movie During the fight with geto we see yuta use cursed speech which is toges curse technique with rikas cursed technique. also geto mentions that Rika uses unlimited cursed energy and calls her the queen of curses. What do you think about yutas potential as a Jujutsu sorcerer and do you think that he could ever be as or more powerful than gojo. Is love really the strongest curse for better or for worse?

Day

After movie question Part 1 - What do you think Gojo said at the end that we couldn't hear? Kind words? Harsh words? Love confession? Part 2 - it was actually revealed this past feb, years after the release of the movie, that Gojo already said the words somewhere in jjk0. The most popular theory is that he something about Geto being his only friend/bestfriend. Does this change your view of Gojo and Geto's relationship?

Katsuki BakuGOAT

After movie Throughout watching season 1 we see yuta being spoken about so highly and built up so much. do you think that it was warranted after watching this movie? What do you think about his journey throughout the movie and his immense character growth from being so insecure and unsteady to having the confidence to fight for his friends so ferociously? A truly remarkable feat.

Tyre Willis

after movie: in season 1 gojo says yuta is one of the students that will surpass him one day, did yuta show this level of potential in this movie?

Day

After movie — do you think love is a powerful curse in the jjk world? What about in reality?

MaSeshield9277

After movie: Having seen the MHA movie and this, how do you think they compare in terms of their storylines and animation? Do you think JJK Zero being a canon movie helps flesh out your understanding of the world and characters in a way the MHA movies didn't.?

Jinchuriki87

POST CREDITS SCENE!!! What do you speculate is going on here?

Jinchuriki87

End of movie question: We get a flashback during geto and gojo's last conversation which seems to show that they appeared to be good friends before. (Which gojo confirms when he says "he was my best friend...well my ONLY friend really") We also got the earlier flashback where geto said "it's sorcerers job to PROTECT non sorcerers) Any speculation (or further speculation if you answered my previous question) as to what caused geto to so drastically change?

Jinchuriki87

Half 1 question: Geto has what one could more or less describe as racism/prejudice against regular humans/non sorcerers. What do you feel like could be the catalyst for this outlook? Gojo said he was banished from the school, do you believe this could be in regards to this outlook?

Jinchuriki87

After movie question: We see geto was severely injured, not to mention gojo finds him in this condition. Yet, obviously geto made it through this to come and be one of our antagonists in season 1. How do you think he survived?

Mike11

After movie question: So now that you’ve gotten to know about Yuta how does his character compare to Yujis character and what some things that stood out from yuta’s character to you guys. Hope you enjoyed the movie.

Well the first mha movie I know is also Cannon. That comes directly from the manga writer himself. There are some key characters introduced in that movie that come back in a huge way later on in the story in season 7. But I still like this question I would like to know their opinions as well! https://images.app.goo.gl/X1wcZBYWBAGZTXoG8

Jesse st.facile

After movie question: Yuta had been mentioned throughout season 1 known as the strongest second year according to todo during the exchange event: after seeing him progress so rapidly throughout the film, where do you think he lands power wise compared to the rest of the cast?

Jesse st.facile

Also fun fact; Yuta was the first character the Mangaka, Gege Auktami, designed when he was making JJK!

Æther Paradox

After movie question: Unlike most other anime movies, the main theme "Greatest Strength" is used in the first act of the movie and only resurfaces as homage. What do you think it says about the writers, but also Yuta that "Greatest Strength" didn't apply to a fight, but instead applied to him getting out of bed despite his deep depression?"

Æther Paradox

Question for half 1: We have now seen Inamaki use his cursed speech used in a much larger scale of applications. What are some additional applications of cursed speech you could imagine? Do you think that just anyone could learn cursed speech or is it hereditary?

Eileen Hinman

Half 1: For the antagonist of this movie, how and why, if at all, do you think their motivations have changed between JJK0 and S1?

Eileen Hinman

After movie and it all is kinda thematically related: What is your perception of Yuta’s journey and growth? Do you see the intrinsic (nature / inner strength) at odds with OR supported by the external? Outside forces like being under the tutelage of Gojo and having a community in Jujutsu High? Would you draw any parallel’s to Yuji’s own personal journey that we have seen so far?

AJ Hutchinson

After movie: now that you have a better idea who Geto is, why do you think he has seemingly changed ideals from the movie to the series?

Michael

End of movie question: Jujutsu Kaisen 0 is an adaptation of the original pilot chapter for JJK and, before the author changed his mind, Yuta was supposed to take back the protagonist role from Yuji after Yuji dies in early season 1. What are your thoughts on this alternative possibility for the story and who do you prefer as the main character?

Ashton

Halftime Question: Based on the various theories you’ve heard regarding Rika from Rika cursing Yuta to Yuta suggesting the opposite, why do you personally think she attached herself to him upon her death? In addition why do you suppose she was so powerful rather than simply reincarnating as a normal curse despite her not being related to a powerful line of Jujutsu Sorcerers?

Ashton

Halftime Question: We briefly see Geto, the orchestrator for most if not all events in season 1, take an interest in Yuta and the special grade cursed spirit bonded with him, Rika. Why do you suppose he has this interest and what could he gain from pursuing it?

Ashton

End of Movie Question: Fun fact, even though the anime adaptation of JJK 0 came out after season 1, it was actually written first in the manga. In addition, the JJK 0 manga was meant to be a standalone or one-shot manga meaning the author didn’t intend to make a full series but was requested to after the booming popularity upon JJK 0s release. With that in mind, if this movie/storyline was kept as a standalone with no further content and was all you had seen of JJK, do you feel you would be satisfied with it or would you enjoy it less without the original series? Why or why not?

Ashton

End of Movie Question: What is your take on the deeper look into Geto’s ideals and abilities in this movie compared to season 1, even revealing he was Gojo’s only true friend? After the events of the movie and after watching season 1, what, if any, change do you notice in Geto from his personality, his beliefs, or his motivations/goals? If so, why?

Ashton

End of Movie Question: What are your thoughts on Yuta’s character and development as a whole? What new perspectives does this movie shine on the world of Jujutsu Sorcery or even existing characters you already knew in addition to knowledge gained from season 1?

Kail Andrews

End of movie question: This more of a joke but what do you think about the consensus in the fandom that the beatdown Gojo gave to Miguel was racially motivated? Also what do you think Yuta´s role would be in the future?

Kiera Demian

Half 1: Gojo points out the higher ups that Rika becoming such a powerful curse upon dying doesn’t make sense given she has no known ties to the world of jujutsu, given what glimpses we’ve gotten of her, what do you think could have caused this?

Kiera Demian

End of movie: In the end we learn it was Yuta’s love for Rika and his unwillingness to accept her death that lead to Rika being cursed. Earlier in the movie Gojo tells Yuta that he believes love is the most twisted curse of all. What do you think about this movies themes about the connections between love and despair? And what ultimate point do you think the author is trying to make with it?

JeffersonGE

End of movie: During season 1 we are told of details about the night parade of 100 demons, like Todo beating a special grade, and Nanami hitting the record for most black flashes hit in a row. What were you surprised that wasn’t mentioned and what were you most excited to see?

Glory

End of Movie: Gojo talks about how "love" is the most twisted curse of all, how do you think this statement applies to both Yuta>Rika and Gojo>Geto's relationship?

Rcola25 Jr

So many good questions. I wonder which ones Kenny will choose to answer. Looking forward to the movie reaction.

Katsuki BakuGOAT

First Half: What do you think of the OSTs played so far. Do you think that the opening song "greatest strength" coincides with Yuta so far or do you think it is foreshadowing his future?

Markub El Jaden

Wait I'm confused, wasn't there already a post for this movie's questions 3 weeks ago? I don't know which will be used for the video, so I guess I will just copy-paste my question below.

Markub El Jaden

End of movie: Now we all love Itadori........but lets be honest for a moment, would you have preferred it if the author kept Yuta as the series protagonist like it was originally planned and for his story to be fleshed out across an entire season instead of one movie or do you think this movie was enough for him and that Itadori is the better over-all protagonist?

OMi26

End of Movie Question: Yuta Okkotsu's name was repeatedly mentioned by Aoi Todo and also Megumi Fushiguro said he has genuine respect and admiration towards him, in season one. So 1) how do you feel if Yuta Okkotsu interacted with Yuji Itadori, since they're both superhumans and are stuck with a Curse apparition like Yuta with Cursed Rika, who protects Yuta out of love.. Yuji with Sukuna, who has a malice personality and Yuji truly hates.. 2) what is your opinion on Yuta Okkotsu after seeing his origin story and insane strength showcased just during his first year? Knowing that Yuta is a second year now and was offscreen during season 1.

Super

After Movie Question: This movies primary plot is that of love being turned into a curse with Yuta and Rika, but there is also another side plot about Gojo and Getos relationship. What do you think the movie is trying to tell us about Gojo and Getos relationship given this context? And after thinking about that, what do you think Gojo told Geto in their final moments?
