KillerB _

After watching it, was it good?

H-Bomb 24

Unrelated to the movie itself, but I remember you mentioning that DreamWorks' Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron might be something you'd react to. That still a possibility?

Marina B

The use of time in this movie is really cool! How do you think it’s unique from other time travel movies?

Marina B

Were you satisfied with the ending? Do you think the characters are impacted by the events of the movie even if they don’t exactly remember it?

2shotsofvodka

If you two switched bodies like in the movie, what do you think would be the funniest or most surprising thing you'd discover about each other’s daily life?

Chobit

I'm so excited for your reaction! This is one of my favourite movies of all time! So I have to ask, how did you cope with the *hand* reveal? It has me bawling every time.

A lot of Makoto Shinkai's movies explore themes of love through the lens of the supernatural. What do you think adding that fantastical element does to enhance a love story?

1. What’s your take on how Your Name blends romance and fantasy with modern day culture? 2. Do you think the film’s message about connection and longing has deeper relevance in today's world?

Majid Aljasim

If they made a sequel to *Your Name*, what would you want to see happen?

Eddy Kubus

Make sure you watch the correct copy, I forget which copy, but one doesn't translate the written words, and those are important too.

GiantGoober

How do you think the twist of the movie shaped the flow of the plot? I ask this because I personally have a thing where I basically predict a movie based on the events that were happening, like at the theaters watching Deadpool & Wolverine I predicted the entire ending (not entirely but I got the concept right) and I ruin movies for myself. With that lengthy explanation given this movie sent me for a loop and I was so wrong about my prediction that it was like an Isekai or something but wasn't expecting time travel and the supernatural being involved. Imo one of the greatest stories and anime films ever.

This! It's important you are watching a copy that translates in animation writing!

this movie explores the idea of fate in a unique way, with it’s supernatural and time travelling elements stitching everything together at the end. Though we don’t live in a fantastical world like that, do you believe in fate?

Mally

Exploring the idea that this “madness”(as her father called it), or ability seemingly runs in their maternal bloodline, what are your thoughts on this, and do you think Mitsuha’s swap partner would have been her father, or another person?

Markub El Jaden

Romance anime generally are not as popular as action-packed shounen anime, despite that Your Name received worldwide acclaim and went on to become the highest-grossing Japanese film of all time (only recently being dethroned by the Demon Slayer movie, again an action-packed shounen), in your opinion what helped Your Name be so loved and popular despite its genre and storyline that usually don't reach this level of success?

Joe Duncan

This isn't a question but I would love for you guys to watch more romance, slice of life anime
