She won’t tell him cuz she see him he’s a literal chrome addict and she see it you see how fast he went and got mad chrome she tell him it’s 90% he go them and and try’s to put on whatever they got cuz he think he fucking immune 😭😂

Something I've been curious about the intro character arts: why is Montana blonde as some characters and brunette as others, but Kenny stays the same?

Tzuumy

The second thing David used to jump over the big guy was the leg implants combined with the the Sandevistan, that was the second 'activation' sequence from him in the fight. Also, why Becca mentioned it afterwards! He was basically in his boosted Sandy mode the whole time then just combo'd.

HBelmont 24

Time for you to see how truly GOATED of a character Rebecca is. 😁

Kyle MacDonald

Tidbit of game knowledge: The big dude who surprised David in Sandevistan mode is using an inferior replica of the Sandevistan which has a similar effect, but a lower top speed and higher risk of cyberpsychosis.

HBelmont 24

SO glad they noticed Matthew Mercer with a cowboy accent as Falco! 😂😏

yani

Would you ever do a cyberpunk 2077 playthrough? They have a streamer mode for nudity etc... also

HBelmont 24

Exactly. Remember what she said in episode four? David's the type to jump in the fire to save someone, even if he's gonna get burned.

Dragon24

I recommend Black Clover! Great anime

HBelmont 24

Pretty sure Kenny said he started that on his own over the summer.

Juan Solo

Kerenzikov, right?

Juan Solo

Living definition of "ride or die"

Letts React

Because Montana is sometimes blonde and sometimes brunette in real life hahaha

HBelmont 24

Ohhhhh. I think it's been a WHILE since we've seen her blonde on the channel. 😅

HBelmont 24

If you played the game, which leg enhancement do you go with? I prefer either the double jump or the long jump inplants.

Juan Solo

I go with the long jump implant.

Some info on Adam Smasher that's not explained in the show; when it comes to the reason for their respective tolerances to cyberware, David and Adam are essentially polar opposites. In terms of the original tabletop RPG, David's high tolerance is because his "Humanity stat" is so high. The lower your Humanity stat drops, the closer you get to becoming a cyberpsycho. Adam Smasher on the other hand had little to no humanity to begin with before he became a full borg, the guy was always unhinged. Adam is basically a high functioning cyberpsycho.

HBelmont 24

I heard a description of him basically as "so cyberpsychotic that he came put the other end sane".

Juan Solo

As a crazy old man from a cartoon once said; "You can't break what's already broken!"

HBelmont 24

I didn't keep up with that reaction cause I had no real urge to rewatch that show (no offense, still like it), but why did Kenny have such an axe to grind with McGucket?

Juan Solo

Because McGucket chased the twins and Soos in the Robo-Gobblewonker in episode 2, and was building death machines on a regular basis.

HBelmont 24

That's a joke, tho, and it sets up it tech-saviness for when it'll be plot-relevant later.

Ram.

Don't forget, Adam Smasher is at least 77 years old, he wasn't fully borged yet in universe 2024, but was alive as an adult then. So at least born in 2000.

Juan Solo

From what I've read Adam had most of his body replaced by cyberware after a job went wrong, and that was before the nuke that went off in Night City (2023).

James S

I gotta ask: why did the shirts change in the beginning? Was that a cyberpunk reference?

yob

mha waiting room

Letts React

haha basically somehow the first 10 seconds of the video didn't record, so I didn't have an intro and instead used the last video but changed the audio. If you look, Montana's mouth doesn't say the words she says in the beginning haha

Pastel

Very likely. It's also important to note that 2077 cyberware is very different than Cyberpunk Red's cyberware. For example, the kereznikov of the 2040's was constantly active, which made a big blow to your mental health as you had to learn to live while constantly in perceived slow motion.

James S

Ahhhh gotcha! I was gonna say “man Kenny and Montana using the sandevistan for an outfit change.” But this is good too 😂

Neutral Nick

I will always be so impressed by how astoundingly smart Kenny and Montana are with their predictions

Vetrais

Yay caught up. But now I have to wait for more...boooo! Lol. I can't wait for you to experience these last 3 episodes. Also as probably others have mentioned, make sure you check out the music video for the end credits song "Let You Down" as it sort of serves as a mini prequel episode in itself...and is amazing! They also did one for "I Really Want to Stay at Your House" (the song you liked from the moon BD). Definitely save that one until after you finish the show though as it's a montage and will have spoilers. Maybe you two can do a reaction to both of them as well as an 11th video?

Ram.

Ah you might be right. So my years were a bit off bit timeline is fine. 2020s up until 23 with the nuke he wasn't fully borged, but was an adult at least in his 20s, so by 2077 he's at least 77 probably 5-15ish years older.

Graham

The Maelstrom giant with the hammer has a Kereznikov implant, not a Sandevistan, they’re similar, but have a few key differences. Kereznikovs are reflex boosters that are essentially always active, but have a much less acute effect. So it’s super-perception and not super-speed. That Maelstrom chrome junkie though was probably loaded with enough muscle enhancers and micro rotors that his body can keep up with his enhanced senses.

Graham

Kenny hit a really insightful point in the end discussion. He’s absolutely right that the more expensive cyberware is often less obtrusive, more streamlined and designed with normal human physiology in mind. There are often “tech lines” or rare metals used as highlights for ornamentation. But clearly David prefers a more natural aesthetic, with what he’s making he could be totally blinged out in solid gold nano-weave realskin.

Day

I wanna suggest Bungo Stray Dogs too! I think you would really enjoy it with the parallels to the actual author's books and the characters and their special abilities

Cyan_Sky9135

Oh goodie... Kaiju No. 8. Another anime to watch. I'm glad I've finished Frieren.

Cuddlydash

fun fact u can play cyberpunk and absolutely murder adam smasher . the first line he says to u is "you look like a f+ckable piece of meat" in game, when he said that i looked at him and pulled out my gun and backed away.

max max

how did you take out a gun in a BD from evelyn
