Gdawg88

Crazy episode🙏🏿

Gdawg88

Also, not my hero related but wanted to say to think about adding more complete shows rather than unended ones. You’ve been doing a lot of incomplete shows and it’d be nice to have more shows that are complete. Just a thought, appreciate you guys

Gdawg88

Still enjoy watching either way, just a thought

HBelmont 24

Just say "AFS", or All For Shiggy, guys. 😅

Stache King

Remember how I said that there were a couple hints that showed this reveal? When Midoriya wrote the letters, Aoyama was not there. The previous episode when All Might said that Star delayed Shigaraki's completion, him and Hagakure were not visible. Speaking of her, in the manga when AFO mentioned he had many friends it was at the end of a chapter with Hagakure shown. It led many to believe that Hagakure was the traitor and the week between those two chapters was AGONY. I'm glad it was ultimately a red herring, but I wouldn't have faulted the creator for going that route.

HBelmont 24

Aoyama being the mole is one of those twists that sounds ridiculous, till you stop and think about it and realize there were actually a TON of signs. 😳

HBelmont 24

"It's the Butterfly, Kenneth." 🤣🤣🤣

David

The predictions in this episode has been 🔥

HBelmont 24

Them getting so paranoid after it teased Hagakure as the spy is so real. EVERYONE thought that at first. 🤣

Dionysus

Too be fair I think it was Ayoama who didn’t wanna be quirkless idk why the dub makes it seem like it was all the parents of course they mad this situation happen but for the most part ayoama was the one who was crying that he didn’t wanna be quirk less

HBelmont 24

Seriously. His discussion about Aoyama before the reveal was SPOT. ON.

Anthony Flenniken

So like the manga readers had it cooked down to just Aoyama or Invisible Girl based on who was unaccounted for at USJ the first time they were ambushed. Invisible girl seemed a really likely red herring as she claimed to be in Todoroki's area, and he hit all the villains in his area with a massive indiscriminate freeze attack. Todoroki even comments "Whoa glad I didn't freeze her" or something like that. The manga cruelly did a chapter end at the "I have friends everywhere" and a picture of the invisible girl. In the anime that is less impactful as it cuts to the next events immediately thankfully.

Kristopher Sy

It was a mix of both sides. Yuga didn't want to be different/not have a quirk while his parents didn't want him to feel left out

Jinchuriki87

Fun fact: That moment where A4O says "I have friends inside UA" and it shows invisible girl was the LAST frame for that chapter of the manga...so readers had to wait a week to find out it wasn't actually her! 🤣🤣

Dionysus

Yeah totally but in the dub it makes it seem like his parents were the ones who at first was scared he would be different but in the sub it showed they were happy till yuga was upset for being different

HBelmont 24

HOW ARE YOUR PREDICTIONS SO GOOD?!?! 🤯🤯🤯

2026-09-19 15:00 One thing I appreciate about the reveal is that once the jog was up, the parents made it CLEAR that Aoyama wasn't to blame for this. They owned up to their own mistake.

Keyblade

They had this plot point since season 2 and I was so confused on why this topic was never brought back again. I was like Kenny and thought they forgot this plot point, so I googled it after I watched season 6 and unfortunately got spoiled :b

BLUEMONKEY18

The idea of the influence on parents/mentors on their children/pupils also applies to MHA as a story. It’s clearly inspired by shonen classics, but is a part of a new generation of shonen stories

Stache King

Also, have the tissues ready in the near future. Especially, ESPECIALLY for episode 11. I won't go into detail because of spoilers, but a hint I will give is that something that was shown in the credit sequence will be seen in another way for that episode.

suhrahha

When you mentioned the rainbows in Bakugou's explosions I genuinely thought you would be like "yeah because he's a little fruity" lmao

ellie

u just had to be there when the manga panel of hagakure dropped like it was so funny watching everyone be like "I KNEW IT WAS HER!" and "it was so obvious!" just for it to turn around and not be her. plus that was the last panel of the chapter so we were left speculating for like a week

Rhythem

I didn’t catch the Yuga traitor thing so it was a big surprise to me when it was revealed. Absolutely crazy, but what’s crazier is finally being able to see what Toru looks like!! I love her design.

Addickt

I was here thinking the same thing lmao 😭

Juan Solo

Benefit of rewatching prior episodes, you pick up on details you're likely to miss the first time. Same thing happened with FMAB, Kenny figured out a good portion of Father's plan.

HBelmont 24

Forreal. I didn't know what to expect. 🤣

Juan Solo

At the same time, Aoyama kept asking everyone what area they thought he was sent to, only for him to say "it's a secret".

Danny C

I’ll never forget when that chapter dropped and people were going back to look for clues 😂

Limini

plus when aoyama did the whole cheese thing

Jinchuriki87

You know what Kenny, sometimes I do question if you DID prewatch this season... because your predictions sometimes seem TOO on the nose! (Then again, so do some of Montanas...y'all make some hell-a good calls!) But unless you/y'all are just REALLY good actor(s)...the excitement you in particular show with going in blind esses my suspicions! 🤣🤣🤣 So excited to see y'all continue on this ride called season 7!

yob

put the parents under the jail😭😭 aoyoma did nothing wrong he was FIVEEE I will defend him til I die

Jinchuriki87

Oh I can imagine...I'm not a manga reader myself, but a coworker of mine was. He told me all about when this happened and how crazy he went trying to figure it out! Haha

Limini

every quirk less kid was crying about it, including deku. Aoyama was just a child and every kid wants to fit and and doesn't see the consequences. A low income kid is gonna whine for the newest gaming console, doesn't mean it's his fault when the parents make the irresponsible decision to go into debt to appease him. "Sorry son, we can't pay rent bc we bought you this thing you wanted and you're def partly at fault for that"

Limini

I still remember everyone speculating who could be the spy and at one point people were throwing out Denki bc he did the L pose that redestro also did lol

Limini

i personally call him "one for shiggy"

yob

yeah I went back and watched the cheese episode after and they basically just TELL YOU he's the traitor and everyone just watched it and was like "lol he's kinda silly"

Dionysus

I think you totally missed what I was saying lmao in the dub they made it seem like yugas parents where like upset that he was quirkless which made montana think that the parents projected that onto yuga when actually they were fine with it but yuga didn’t wanna be left out which led to the parents to find all for one to make him happy

yob

I used to think the cheese episode was funny now when I rewatch it just looks like a desperate cry for help😭😭

yob

*looks at invisible camera*

Scar

It doesn’t really change a thing, they still go onto another show after catching up with another. They will pause when new content comes out but for the most part they will choose a show that would end before said new content. It’s better to start bigger shows and catch up to leave more room for shorter ones

Scar

It seems that yall still don’t get that new order doesn’t exist anymore, that’s why they keep bringing up Cassie’s big sacrifice and saying things like “it was ate up” and her whole monologue at the end about giving up her life and her quirk so someone else can have a better advantage

Christian Nevarez

In the concept of the story, try and tell a desperate child to do the right call when his parents lives are on the line and All For One is free, so the UA shelter idea is good but for an ignorant frightened child the Aoyama is he don’t know better (for sake of the story being told)

Anonymous

i love how many predictions are being thrown out this episode lol

kendell

well kenny did major in theater... (I don't think they pre-watched)

Shane O'Brien

Good predictions Kenny! You nailed that shit

Limini

"Like who's on his team who likes him?" lmaooooo

Jinchuriki87

Oh damn you're right!!! 😮😮🤣🤣

Limini

you guys are so savage when I watched the ep for the first time I teared up when deku reached out his hand for aoyama but this time I had to laugh so hard "take my hand!" "✋ no jail time"

Limini

rewatch the ending again after the season, it's so tragic

Justin James

I can’t stop snitching is hilarious 🔥🤣🤣🤣

Strike177

The broccoli hair is from the explosions, it's an anime trope.

Molly McDougal

I think my favorite thing about this reveal is realizing that at some point All for One had a bellybutton laser that made him shit his pants if he used it too much.

Kyle MacDonald

In the manga, the shot where All for One was talking about his friends and it cut to Hagakure was the final panel of a chapter, so manga readers were left on that for a week.

HBelmont 24

Seriously. This season is gonna be FUUUUN

HBelmont 24

I don't know if it is available yet, but after episode four is chronologically when the new movie takes place, so that'd be the time to watch it, of at all possible.

HBelmont 24

Huh, that's actually an interesting observation 🤔

Chris Collier

Did you guys do something different with the setup/lighting? It looks nice

freshfruitbox

Nah let Kenny cook, predicting Aoyama was the spy is crazy 😂

nic ˚୨୧⋆｡

all of kenny's predictions this episode have been nuts. it's so cool to have you both exploring new territory in MHA and being able to bounce ideas off of each other without kenny knowing what's to come.

HBelmont 24

Love how our girl Hagakure FINALLY got her time in the spotlight (pun intended). She's always been a pleasant character. ☺️ Also, her face reveal was manifique! 😘

William Roberts

oh no i had never actually watched the outro before.... my heart

Limini

ah sorry

Limini

thank God it wasn't him my heart wouldn't be able to take it if it had been him. Maybe hori just liked the pose but my headcanon is that the idealogy of the liberation kind of spread on social media and kids picked up on it. Like they were already ready to influence politicians and the media so I dont think it's too far off to say that they planted some influencers here and there and since kaminari is interested in fashion and music and "cool" stuff id imagine he's the most up to date when it comes to stuff like that.

Pugz

WAIT… I never noticed the third all might card I’m the outro…

Gestrid

Technically, the movie takes place during episode 4. It specifically takes place between two scenes in episode 4.

Gestrid

Aoyama < / 3 I love that Class 1-A is still reaching out their hands to him, metaphorically speaking. They still believe that he can be hero, even if he doesn't believe it himself. BTW, 80% of people have Quirks *right now*. It's not "in the beginning" 80% had Quirks. It's 80% right now, but it's becoming much rarer. Like, by the time Class 1-A is grown up and married, the percentage of people with Quirks may be at 90%.

Gestrid

I actually heard that the author was asked about it and that the author responded that he'd forgotten about that plot point. Clearly, he hadn't.

Letts React

Haha this is an instance of me prior to showing this to Montana remembering the traitor mentioned in Season 3, so the whole time we have been watching I've been gathering evidence and he seemed to be the most likely!! Its SO FUN to be able to predict now, I have thought these things for a while but now I'm revealing all my theories at once!

Letts React

We know its gone, I just was theorizing as to if Shigaraki making a beeline to that one guy to give him New Order was more than just offloading, and instead storing

Scar

I believe he did actually say that in the episode but I could be wrong…I like y’all’s theories I was just making sure yall knew new order is no longer at play😭

Letts React

Honestly didnt change the camera but I found myself thinking the lighting looked better on this video randomly too. What you may be noticing is that I leveled the camera so there isnt a slight 1.7 degree tilt

Gestrid

Hints and foreshadowing about Aoyama's betrayal: 1. He disappeared during the USJ Arc after being teleported. When asked where he was, all he said was, "Secret!" He was likely teleported somewhere safe, per All for One's orders. 2. Aoyama distracted Uraraka during the Final Exam Arc. He may have been trying to avoid going to the summer camp and being able to leak their location. 3. During the Training Camp Arc, Aoyama was worried when one of the villains, the one causing the poison gas, was defeated. He realized his classmates were fighting. 4. Also, despite making *direct eye contact* with Dabi, Dabi ultimately decided to leave him alone. 5. He advised against going out to save Bakugo. While he was probably worried about his classmates, there was probably a lot more to it. 6. In the Preliminary Hero License Exam Arc, we get a small look at Aoyama's past. In it, he asks his parents why he's different from everyone else. He also mentions his dream, that he be treated as an equal. This alludes to him being quirkless. 7. He was also hiding for most of this arc. And, later, he even sacrifices himself, trying to draw the enemy (the other schools taking the exam) to him. He would've failed the exam. He might've been feeling like he wasn't worthy to be a hero, or he might not have wanted to be around his classmates and cause them harm anymore. 8. Just before the Culture Festival Arc, Aoyama is asked if he'd like to eat with his classmates. He declines, saying that Lunch Rush's food doesn't agree with his palate. However, it's more likely that he just can't bear to spend time with his classmates anymore after continuing to betray them. 9. We also get a very suspicious moment when he's outside Midoriya's dorm room on the balcony. The moment is played for laughs after the initial tension, but it definitely foreshadows that Aoyama is up to *something*. 10. Aoyama later tells Deku that, like Deku, Aoyama's body isn't made to handle his quirk. This further hints that he was once quirkless. He may have also been thinking that Deku got his quirk from All for One as well. 11. Aoyama *loves* the camera. For most of the series, he's even facing towards it. But, after the Paranormal Liberation War Arc, he begins facing away from it. In some cases, he even avoids it altogether, staying out of camera shots that otherwise show the whole class. 12. During the Dark Deku Arc, he and Hagakure are the only ones not to say anything to him. Hagakure makes sense since she's never really had any moments with Deku. But, despite the time they've had together, Aoyama doesn't say anything to Deku. 13.A. The spine of each volume of the manga shows a little character portrait (from the shoulders up) from Class 1-A. Volume 10's spine shows Aoyama, but he's looking pretty downcast for some reason. 13.B. Additionally, there's some rather creepy art of Aoyama that Horikoshi drew for an art exhibition. Aoyama is sitting looking out at the viewer. His body is facing away from us, but he's looking at us sadly. Something with a giant eye behind him is opening a sort of door and branching out from the opening. Source: Some guy on Twitter who I can't link because it'd get caught in Patreon's spam filter.

Gestrid

In the anime, that was the final shot of the "next episode" preview, so anime viewers were also left on that for a week.

Keyblade

I really hope the movie will come to streaming soon. In my country, they just started showing them in cinema in October, so it will probably still take a while.

Jinchuriki87

Oh for sure... especially when you're having to go back and edit all of these episodes, so it's like you get a deep dive into them. As I said, y'all's predictions are awesome... especially when y'all make one and we KNOW y'all just nailed it but we see y'all questioning it 🤣🤣

Gestrid

So, fun fact: I watch the "next episode" previews. The preview ended with the shot of Hagakure's gloves (the one where AfO says he has friends in many places, though his voiceover wasn't in the preview) and then the title card "VILLAIN". I felt SO spoiled from that preview that week. XD

Gestrid

Someone in a Discord server I'm in linked a tweet that had THIRTEEN DIFFERENT HINTS that Aoyama was the traiter. THIRTEEN!

L.C.

Well Deku is the one reaching out to him. Its a direct call back to All Might telling Deku he can still be a hero. Bakugo also caught onto what Deku was trying to do as a sign of how well he knows Deku. That is another callback on how Deku came to help Bakugo when he fell off into the river and could have really hurt himself and Deku held out his hand for Bakugo to help him back up even though Bakugo was selfish and hard headed back then and hated him for it but now Bakugo sees Deku do it again and admires him for it.

Gestrid

Unfortunately, generally speaking, the most in-demand shows, the ones that get views and help pay the bills, tend to be the ones that are incomplete. Granted, that's not always the case (as with all the reaction channels picking up Gravity Falls over the last couple years), but it usually is.

L.C.

Bakugo actually admired and took note of Deku reaching out his hand to Aoyama because its a direct callback to when Bakugo fell into the river as they were kids and Deku was the only one that ran all the way down to where he fell and reached out his hand to him. The Bakugo as a kid hated Deku for doing that because it hurt his pride and ego. Now Bakugo saw it and knew this was what Deku would do even knowing what all Aoyama did because he looks for the best and good in a person opposed to all of the bad just like Deku did with Bakugo.

Erin Ryan

I think its one of them as their current characters

Gestrid

Yeah, I know Deku is *literally* reaching out to Aoyama (and I know what it's a callback to), but the rest of the class is *metaphorically* reaching out to him, believing he'll help them trick AfO.

IGoBySparky

"Not so fast Midoriya. Sansa, gag the kid" TOOK ME OUT

Eric C

kenny deserves a couple notches on the genius counter for the aoyama prediction

awildjord

ye i don't even like aoyama, i never did, but i cant help but just feel bad for him lmao like it would be hard enough being a terrified 15/16 year old in his situation but even if he had it in him to accept being killed by AFO for not following orders, its much harder when u do it to protect someone u love - he doesn't wanna let his parents be killed which AFO would definitely threaten to do to get him to fall in line

HBelmont 24

He deserves a TON of genius counters for his predictions this episode, holy crap. 😳

Letts React

This is the patreon cut so its uncut, in the youtube version those pauses will totally be cut down.

Vince92

You guys completely gave up on Aoyama pretty quickly

dannydarko27

Idk I always liked Aoyama, dude was a perfect edition to all his scenes and made me love him during the exam with his sacrifice play. Now with this all his scenes are recontextualized and he has far more depth than just the funny frenchman

Ronan

So the reason All for One didn't steal Overhaul's quirk is solely because of time and effort. AfO is only focused on easy and powerful quirks. Kind of like a get rich quick scheme but with quirks. If a quirk requires time and a lot of skill in order to use, he refuses to take it. Examples are Overhaul, Best Jeanist, etc.. Both their quirks are powerful, but they take a lot of time and effort to master or use it at its full potential.

luna Brouat

I never watch the English version as a French viewer it’s so weird the mother accent like it sounds more German than French 💀

Kiribukai

CRYING 😭 But when Kenny was like “wait hold on” and paused on the cards I really thought he had figured it out 🤣

DickinaBox

also just a theory here but i think it could also be from the merging of Shiggy and AFO cuz we know shiggy HATED overhaul and wouldnt want his quirk

Kiribukai

I have been watching on YouTube since you guys started MHA, and I joined Patreon just for the 7th season! This has been a blast so far! I am loving these reactions, especially since Kenny is completely in the dark now! Looking forward to the rest of the season! 🫶

Letts React

No we believe! Just can’t let him and mainly his parents off too easy haha. And honestly selling the entire school down the river is pretty hard to overlook haha

Ronan

Oh, that's a fair point too. I never thought about that. I could definitely see that.

Stephen Cruz

Nah idk why but the dub killed me this episode

Limini

As a German viewer I found the French accent so distracting too

Limini

Won't it mess up the pacing of the show?

Kevin De Bruyne

I got him "no you dont" dont underestamite bakugoat

mel

loved ur reaction! def excited to see more - and yeah! watch the outros, sometimes they stay the same i believe but sometimes some things change so watch out for it for sure

Saiyasha

Fucking hell, Kenny, you _called it!!_ I never suspected Aoyama, but I am really glad that it wasn't Kiri or Kaminari like some people thought it might be. Imagine Kirishima being the traitor. That would have ripped my heart out of my chest.

Braden Jackson

I believe Mr French and his family feared for their life because AFO showed how bad he could be and that they saw what happens to those who betray him along with that AFO has enough supporters to make the government question executing him and to put the world into chaos with a few words so they could never know if they are safe because while AFO isn’t in the walled of safe haven one of his supporters might and he also could have heard what happened to lady Nagant and be scared of a similar thing with his quirk even if it wasn’t true

Letts React

It was all for one by himself that met overhaul tho, not Shiggy haha but that would have been cool! Also, don’t really buy that all for one wouldn’t want to take it due to difficulty of quirk, I get that with every other quirk, but a quirk that restores him back to fully healthy? I believe he would TOTALLY take the time to figure it out as he probably wants nothing more then to go back to normal. It is just too big of a benefit to ignore!

James Carl Carter III

It's ok if you've seen spoilers but don't act like you haven't 😂

the raven

Don't forget floppy was the first to realy power up training for the lilicense exam. in the second test she reveals she reached a new level... camouflage

Kyle Kuney

Kenny all I gotta say is some of your predictions are unreal, that is all. I just watched the season finale and you're in for it

Minus Mega

Same here. Deku pleading with Aoyama and showing him so much support after capturing him was such an insane level of not just empathy (which he’s always had), but also maturity. And Justin Briner’s performance did it so much justice like ahhhhh I can’t even 😭

mal

this is why we listen to the post reaction discussion because they definitely didn’t give up on him lmao

Curtis Murphy

Aoyama 100% does not deserve any jail time. He's been threatened with brutal torture and death since he was like 5. Not to mention the same thing happening to his parents. I don't blame him at all for going along with whatever the closest thing to Satan their world has, said

Martin Mcfly

id say aoyamas crime are classed as under duress by law + hes like 15 so maybe not jail time

Daniel Nolt

Poor Aoyama dude. Was a literal pawn threatened with death threats (with evidence of follow through), Parents pressuring him to do as AFO says or they'll die too, all while having to choose his parents and himself or his class? Not only that, but he self sabotages a few times throughout the series so he doesn't have to betray his class. AND HE'S ONLY 15!!!! He has got to be one of the most unfortunate characters in this show!

Ariana🥀

Fun fact: The manga releases leaked that same panel as well and for like 2 weeks the internet went crazy over her being the traitor while cheering that Aoyoma, Kaminari, and Kirishima beat the allegations. Let’s just say it was a rough “you thought” moment.

Jittercritter

Mina’s face always makes me so sad, they always sort of had sibling energy to me

Jittercritter

Everything about this twist was called by a huge chunk of the audience beforehand, a lot like the Dabi twist, and this is Kenny’s favorite show. It’s not much of a stretch that he called it

WhateverIFeelLike

Overhaul's quirk is never said to be difficult to control, and AFO has to learn to use every quirk he steals. What AFO says is that Best Jeanist's quirk is weak on it's own and that it's strength comes from hard work and practice, which wouldn't pair well with Tomura's disposition. There is a very good reason why AFO doesn't steal Overhaul, but that's a spoiler

HBelmont 24

Hagakure's VA also popped off. I always liked her voice. ☺️

Caitlin Whitaker

I think AFO didn't take Overhaul's quirk because Overhaul could only reform himself as he is

Great Explosion Murder God Dynamite

I think AFO did take overhauls quirk cause the quirk was in his hands i so once he lost his hand he lost his quirk is like when hawks lost fierce wings the wings were gone

Sprig Plantar

Well dang if Thirteen knew about it then she should have warned someone

Sprig Plantar

How dare you change the spelling of Dynamight's name, you monster 😂 may as well just call him sparky sparky boom man

Marco Garcia

I just watched this ep for the first time, just last week my coworker said he hates that traitor French guy and I said wait what? Man I was one week away from the spoiler 😭

Marco Garcia

Montana “yah can’t stop snitchin’” was the funniest thing I’ve heard her say in dying 😭
