Jinx calling Vi's gauntlets "b**** mittens" might be the FUNNIEST thing in the series, now. 🤣🤣

HBelmont67

He might be a prick, but Salo is such a punching bag this season that I kinda feel bad for him. 😅

HBelmont67

Since you already watched Vi's scene in the start of the episode, you think you'll splice that reaction into this episode on YouTube? 🤔

HBelmont67

The scenes from season one that broke me the most were Vander dying protecting his kids and Vi and Powder separating. The reunion this episode fixes both, just like Montana said. 🥹😭

𝖐𝖆𝖙𝖘𝖚𝖐𝖎 𝖇𝖆𝖐𝖚𝖌𝖔𝖆𝖙

This show has some of the greatest one liners. "In my experience, no one in power is innocent" "Why is peace always the justification for war?" They're just so damn good man. (Feel free to add your favorites in the comments, there's too many to remember)

HBelmont67

I still don't like Caitlin, but having her investigate the prison like she did the crime scene in season one was a neat callback, I guess. 🫤

HBelmont67

Whenever they zoom into a full screen, the bottom half of the screen is too high.

Kleed44

omg my wife and I both don't like Caitlyn and I thought we were the only ones (it's Kleed btw)

Kristopher Sy

Ah. Mah heart. It's hurting so good. Also someone get Jayce a shave, a shower, and some tea

HBelmont67

You did say you liked Kratos 😅 But yeah. She crossed the line in episode 3, if you ask me.

Letts React

Its supposed to be like that, technically because this is widescreen its the best way to see the most of the episode! If we shift the screen up, we cover less of it

HBelmont67

Dude, the look on Jinx's face as she looks scared in the dark and sees Vi and Vander hugging might be the best facial animation in all of Arcane, which is saying a LOT. You can just see her panicking, thinking, "Please, don't let me have jinxed things again." And then to see that she DIDN'T and see Vi extend the hand to her is just 😙👌🥲

yob

to jayce or not to jayce

yob

jaybe or jaybe not

LAZY bastarz

I love your content kenny😊 big shoutout from south korea ! 🇰🇷

demonic-myst

Most jinx lines during their sisterly fight are references to game lines “If think in crazy should meet my didter” “Big hands”

defnotdai

bring on the tearbending

Jittercritter

I’ve been SO hyped to see how Montana would react to the sister dynamic. I was never expecting to get to see them act like this and it was SO wonderful, this episode is tied for my favorite

Erin Ryan

Salos personality changed a lot too. Salos selfish and greedy. He would go back to the council not worship and help viktor.

Erin Ryan

Also "why do people commit acts others deem unspeakable. For love"

Erin Ryan

I love seeing silco as a good guy and from Vanders point of view

Seachelle

Watching this series as a sister is pain, but it’s so great to feel seen in a show this amazing 😭

Seachelle

best part is how if you look at his hair, younger Silco styled his bangs the way Jinx does now 🥹

Kleed44

Hey! Yeah, Caitlyn really crossed the line this season imo

Neburcs

The first scene we get with Mel in season 1 is her picking out a puzzle box as a gift for another councilor. Such a nice callback having her solve puzzles here as we know she's extremely good at it.

Keyblade

Okay, I did not expect any of this. Vi teaming up with Jinx again and then even reaching out to Vander/Warwick and all of that successfully?! I was fully expecting Vander being too far gone. My eyes hurt from crying, wth. But I did not not get any of the Jayce stuff. Why is he so angry? Should re-watch the other episodes again I guess.

HBelmont67

Seriously. I kinda wish Montana would get a different character for the intro art. 😕

VVenture

Fun facts (since the whole Warwick being in Season 2 thing is no longer a spoiler for you guys). Warwick being the abomination thing chained up in Singed’s basement, as well as being Vander, was one of the hilariously worst kept secrets for fans of the games. It was so unbelievably obvious to game fans that even the showrunners of Arcane constantly made jokes about it on the press tour. “Why do people think Warwick is in Season 2?? What’s all that about??” 😂 Of course, if you know nothing about the games, it’s a really cool reveal, but I just thought I’d give you the perspective of League (or former) players lmao

HBelmont67

*Salo. Sato is Sugarman from My Hero Academia. 😅

真嗣 • Shinji

It was at this point in the story when Jayce became one of my top 2 favorite characters, so interesting

Cyrus_tha_Virus

Poor Vander, they really gave him the Kurogiri treatment the way his body was stolen and pretty much violated :(

Chandman

Finish act 2 today? ;)

Jittercritter

I don’t play League but I hang out online much that I got it spoiled back in s1 lol

Yourboy Gman

Jinx smelled Vanders jacket not Silcos

HBelmont67

Anyone reminded of The Last of Us Part II, when Ellie went to Joel's home after his death and did the same thing?

HBelmont67

I said he was like a Nomu last week! 😵

Schlong Shucker

Oh the Jayce pfp rabbit hole is so deep, and there’s so many variations

Juan Solo

Or rather he'd go back to living it up in Piltover. Remember, the Council was (forcibly) disbanded by Caitlyn and Ambessa.

Juan Solo

The reason why Jinx used a lighter rather than clap was because all of the glow-things surrounding them were destroyed during Vi and Warwick's fight.

Juan Solo

He can keep the beard, but he definitely needs a shower, a warm meal, and a nap.

Juan Solo

If it's any consolation, the character art is still modeled after S1 Cait. 😅

Juan Solo

Crazy how a majority of Arcane's great quotes come from the "evil" characters (Silco, Singed, Ambessa, etc.).

Juan Solo

Their initial reaction to it is already on YouTube though.

HBelmont67

I have no idea what they were talking about.

HBelmont67

It's not really a consolation, cause a) Caitlin's design does change that much between seasons, and b) I don't carenfor her much more in that first season. I've just lost love for this character, what can I say?

Schlong Shucker

Fuck dude isha hugging vi and jinx just about broke me

HBelmont67

There's some good ones,as well. Like Heimerdinger: "It's a sad fact that those that shine brightest usually burn fastest."

Schlong Shucker

Okay so after episode six thousands of people on TikTok had profiles signaling whether they supported Jayce or not for something he does, green check for yes, yellow question for unsure and Red Cross for no. And since then I’ve seen some wild variations of the Jayce profile

Erin Ryan

They were together so ill say she hugged both

Gravy

That's because Caitlyn isn't trying to be redeemed. She acknowledges this herself later. Her thought process isn't "how do I make up for my wrong doings" because she knows can't. Instead, it's "what is the right thing to do in this situation". One of the many qualities that make her a compelling character.

HBelmont67

Really? This is news to me. 🤣

Eric C

"What are you waiting for? He's your dad too" G O D that scene made me cry harder than I had in a long time. The catharsis of that moment (for both the sisters and me); waited years for that

Eric C

can i also say? my first thought upon seeing younger, clean-shaven Vander in the flashback was literally: "he looks a bit like Kenny tbh"

Eric C

Also wanted to note that despite threatening the worst cells in Stillwater, Caitlyn doesn't seem to ACTUALLY do it, since we see Singed in the same/similar cell he was in again later. She's not fully gone

Jinchuriki87

I'm definitely wanting more explanation on what happened to jayce. Did time flow differently while he was in there? I know there was a time skip, but was it the same for him? Where are the other two? Wtf did it do to his hammer??? (Kinda surprised yall didn't mention that it appeared completely remade) I think we got a hint to the dark side of what jayce saw when you could see the vision flicker to some dark form while he was talking to Salo.

mantis toboggan

the hug scene is the most emotionally affected i think i've ever been by a piece of media. I mean good lord the emotional release of seeing them all reunited again after 3 years real time, 6+ years in lore, and SO much happening between is so cathartic. we know these characters so well and i feel so connected to them it's like vander is MY dad.

Jittercritter

LMAO the mutual shrug motion after Jayce offed Salo was beautiful

Braden Jackson

In my opinion many characters have crossed the line for me and I feel like it’s really odd that people keep singling out Caitlyn when countless others have done things just as bad and worse than what she does also if you look at her actions in the future as redemption then it will feel odd spoilers if you haven’t finished but she admits herself that she can’t be forgiven and redeemed for what she has done and hopes to learn from them so she doesn’t be a even worse person we see a lot in act 3 and a little here that she feels the pain in the actions she has done even when others don’t want her to feel that way you can definitely still feel mad but a question I am wondering is why are you all still mad at cait when Jayce killed a kid recived no back lash besides the mom trying to have revenge and him being upset about it for 5 minutes or when jinx kills innocents in a enjoyment way for her he’ll I see more silco defenders than cait and he did way worse stuff so why is everyone mad more at Caitlyn ( actually asking I am a bit confused by it)

Braden Jackson

Yea I feel both bad for him and find it completely funny 😄

SeventhSkull

Officially, the time skip between episode 3 and episode 4 was 3-6 months.

Jinchuriki87

So 3-6 months for regular time...and potentially worse for jayce. Damn...

sav

Just watched episode 5 myself before watching this and oh my god completely sobbed all over my pillow during that reunion scene I haven’t felt that much emotion since I watched bananafish lol

Gravy

I adore Caitlyn, she's such a well written, complex character. Even while effectively blinded by grief, guilt and vengeance, she still struggles with the sense of morality that's guided her her entire life. Really bums me out to see the lack of empathy and understanding she gets this season - dismissed as entitled and power hungry. I don't think anyone saying they wouldn't have cracked under similar pressure are being completely honest lol. Do people just want boring ass characters that always make the right choice? I don't get it.

hoodie

FINALLY a happy episode. Someone must've finally hugged the writers before writing this time

Erin Ryan

Isha getting hurt is such a "please don't tell mom" moment

Derek Chase

Seeing the Jayce profile pictures with no context is hysterical

Cassandra Nightshade

From what i understand, the black rose mage is not Mel's sister by blood. Just by magic, as in they are both mages. The affair child is Mel. The black rose organisation is after mel because she is a mage as well and they want revenge on ambessa. So they call her sister because they are both magic not because they are related. They really didn't explain it properly in the show.

Mathies

they arent really sister by blood but kind of... since it is implied that her father is a black rose member. you could say that she is a daughter of the coven.

Mathies

i mean even in season 2 they 100% knew they werent being subtle with that one. they wanted the audience to figure it out

Saiyasha

Ah, Salo, we hardly knew ye.
