Limini

didn't really like season 2 of squid game

LeFlaneur

The most controversial phase of the exam

Limini

gon is somehow more adorbs in the dub

TunerFall121

Hey, I just wanna say how much I appreciate you guys watching most of these anime in dub. I know how some people are very fond of the subs. I just can't get into watching them (I don't know why) So I'm glad to have a reactor to watch in english. Plus a lot of the VAs do great work.

LeFlaneur

I’ve commented on this before, but I’m happy how you quickly clocked how the Hunter’s Association, while not wholesale immoral, is definitely amoral. Like if you think about regulatory bodies its closer to the philosophy of say a police union or a real estate board than it is to say a physician board.

HBelmont67

When are we getting questions and reactions for the new season of Invincible?

cade-carter

Tonpa is legitimately in my top 10 HxH characters. He is scummy and obviously not a good person. But he is so stupid and cartoonishly evil that I just get a huge laugh put of everything he does. He plays childrens games when they're all surrounded by death and misery. Also, despite being overweight and clearly not the strongest, he would still demolish any normal person in their world or ours. The man runs 100 miles through the swamp with no issues while paying more attention to the other people

OceanPhantom

The guy who was eaten was disqualified 😂

Jinchuriki87

Well they kinda have to considering what they have said previously 🤣 That said, most of their dub watches have actually been decent quality. (For example, as much as I've stated in the past I would wanna see a Naruto reaction...I stopped asking bc I remembered how much I LOATH the dub for it lmao)

Jinchuriki87

Wow Kenny, those are some awesome powers of "prediction" you were showing us...are you SURE you're seeing this for the first time??? (Jk jk...it just boggles my mind when yall drop those on the nose predictions like that haha)

Babybear47

Flying nut sack head bird lol honestly don't know what they are called but that was funny I would keep it that name 😂😂😂

Erin Ryan

I think this Monday

Cosmic Youth

Keep in mind Kenny was a theater major and has spent a ton of time watching and analyzing media. After enough time studying film and TV, you can pick up on similar themes and story beats from show to show even if youve never seen them before. Like after watching Star wars the first time, you'd be able to see a "the villain is secretly the heroes father" twist coming much easier

Jinchuriki87

Oh I know...I just like poking fun at him (and Montana) when they call shit so well haha That said...you reminding of that bit of trivia reminds me of the absolute CRIME that is Kenny having NOT watched lord of the rings!!! We NEED the reaction to him seeing on of the best trilogies EVER made damnit!!! (And NOW!!! 🤣)

Fox Trot

Pretty much all we know about the Hunter’s Association at this point in that the main character’s father abandoned him to become one- and their tests kill a LOT of people. When I was watching for the first time I felt like the Association had NO moral alignment and is more a place for selfish people to pursue their own desires and occasionally help people while doing it.

Schlong Shucker

Yo I’d love a season 2 squid games reaction, maybe after invincible or smth

Day

If we're recommending non-animated shows, I recommend From bc its such a psychological and mind-bending show they would have so much fun theorizing 😭😭 the only downside is all the graphic gore and blood 🫠

Rob Carlstrom

For sure it makes it easier to watch them while at work or the gym too lol 😆. Also for hxh specifically I think the dub is genuinely better. Except for one specific scene in a much much later arc, I think the Japanese VA absolutely kills in.

Kene Ozoude

We need some double drops fr

Æther Paradox

Hunters are truly self interested. Whatever they have to do to hunt the thing they are hunting (which can be LITERALLY ANYTHING) is legal. Hisoka said earlier that he just wants his license to not get in trouble for murder. Currently all the applicants are “hunting” for their license. Anything, regardless of morals and ethics can be on the table to achieve that goal.

Ellie

lol i'm the opposite, naruto dub is one of the few dubs that i actually like better than the sub
