Neutral Nick

asking for double upload maybe please and thank you :)))

StorytellerDave

Frieren Friday! I love this episode, it's SO cool.

HBelmont67

My money's on MHA Vigilantes after Frieren instead of Mob Psycho. Best to watch that before the final season this fall, and after Frieren would be the earliest available opportunity.

HBelmont67

Not Kenny calling himself out for liking tall women in Methode. 🤣🤣 Absolutely ZERO judgement, my guy. Methode's awesome, and we'll get even more of her later.

Babybear47

Love this last few episodes!!

Nathan Beach

No double drop for these two episodes hurts my soul, I can't wait for next week

HBelmont67

Frieren and Serie have such an interesting dichotomy, and I really like how that last scene with them was framed. When talking about the Age of Humans coming on the horizon, Serie displays her distaste for it and turns her back to the sunset. Frieren, on the other hand, is excited by the prospect and faces it.

VolcanoVR

Hi! I commented this on a previous video, but I’m not sure if you guys saw it. You guys keep equating this to Hunter Hunter and that is because the person who made Frieren what’s one of the main people in charge of the story for HunterxHunter

HBelmont67

Also, "we don't have lifetimes, more like eternities" is a HARD line.

Lyrical Kell of Music

Hopefully they will drop it today, since the questions for next episode have already been chosen im guessing they have watch it. Fingers crossed

Chobit

I NEED THE NEXT EPISODEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Suplee215

I take it less as jealously and more as fear of change. The mages there are the more threats there are. Her criticism of a world where egeryone knows magic is that there was no regards to safety concerns on top of the not wanting lesser mages to use it. I feel like she didn't destroy the demon king becuase that will allow humans to grow even more. And there might be some truth to if everyone has magic then soemthing worse may come. Fern has scary potential in this episode but so does Ubel in this arc. And humans don't have to live to see what their choices do to the world in a thousand years. Elves do. Both a cynical and non cynical way to look at it.

Zephyroh

I dont think it was jealousy Serie felt there, although she refers to Flamme as a student she trained on a whim, she is clearly impressed by her establishments despite the fact she can not understand her aspirations. Its not that Serie couldnt do the things Flamme did in such short time, its that she never wanted to. She directly says in this episode that she doesnt want magic to be widespread. Serie is an elven mage of mythical era, she could kill the Demon King if she wanted to, and yet she didnt. It is because she doesnt like peace, she enjoys watching the conflict unfold.

StorytellerDave

I heard Frieren's weakness being likened to a boxer closing his eyes on reflex when fighting.

Ven

As far as Serie goes, I think it's more a combination of cynicism and pragmatism than anything. She seems like she's been around a lot longer than Frieren (given that she looked pretty much the same now as she did when Frieren was visibly younger), so seeing short-lived creatures who are prone to conflict finding newer, more effective ways to do it is probably pretty distasteful to watch. I think of it like someone who already has knowledge of nuclear technology (let's say, I dunno, an alien observing humanity or something) living from the days when we were relatively primitive hunter-gatherer societies to a post-World War II society. They've live long enough to watch people go from attacking each other with sticks and stones to seeing the horrors they unleashed in World War II. And all the while, they see people constantly refusing to learn from their past and continuing to engage in the same kind of conflicts for many of the same reasons time and time again. I can imagine that someone who has seen all of that while already knowing what nukes are capable of probably wouldn't be too keen at the notion of humans discovering how to create them before they've evolved into a society less prone to...well...trying to blow each other up.

BiPS

I always liked while Serie was talking shit about Flamme, she was reminiscing about her a child and holding her hand. Words harsh, but memories sweets

StorytellerDave

Serie is SUCH a tsundere, she cannot handle being honest/ernest with the way she feels.

Braden Jackson

Love Frierens reaction to them saying her weakness

StorytellerDave

Gosh that conversation about having to make a few big decisions that humans cannot afford to delay just hit me so much the first time I watched, it's like a legit line that stuck with me ever since and I've actually tried to change the way I am because of it. There's not a lot of shows that can do that, having such a deep impact on my life, Frieren is just on a whole other level.

Miles

Double drop please!!

WEEZY

I have a 6 hour flight today, That would be such a blessing lol

Syphonics

Just gonna throw this out there - Dandadan would be an insane reaction to do next.

Guadalupe Leon

A reaction to Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt would be so funny.

Calvin Boyce

I think Frieren has said she’s lost 11 times and 6 of those were to humans with less mana than her

Joseph

A double drop would be a blessing for me

JeffersonGE

I forget who said this but i read that for Serie saying “I only trained her on a whim” is the same as Frieren saying “a mere ten years”

L.C.

I doubt a double drop will happen tbh

Alseriph

Fun fact, Spiegel is not the name of a monster, it’s simply the German (as well as Yiddish and Dutch) word for mirror. It may also be the name of a creature, but as far as I can tell it isn’t.

Teib _21

In Frieren it is the name of the Creature, the two first class mages mention its name as Spiegel, it is a mirrior-like monster/creature and or object. They do not specify though if it is a living thing or a magical item. Spiegel is the name of the thing making all the clones.

Alseriph

I meant I don’t think it’s the name of a creature in real world folklore. I understand it’s a creature in the show.

Limini

they specify it as a demon which is a monster made out of Mana

Limini

11 times against people with less Mana than her, she probably lost against more people with more Mana than her

Limini

what do you mean? as in they have the same editor?

VolcanoVR

“Kanehito Yamada played a significant role in the 2011 Hunter x Hunter anime adaptation, serving as the series' Director. He was responsible for the overall visual direction and creative vision of the anime, contributing significantly to its quality and success” copied verbatim from Google

Limini

but that's like almost every creature we've seen Einsam, Stille, etc

Alseriph

I know 😭 I was just trying to say it’s not the name of an actual monster in real world folklore

Joshua Huppenthal

Yooo pls consider doing a reaction series to " The Promised Neverland" the first season is peak🔥

L.C.

Sickened Hollow

There was probably a good reason. Move on with your day.

amaya mix

they just did a double drop on hxh, they wouldnt do two double drops in a row

amaya mix

i personally love dandadan, that just doesn't seem like a show they would enjoy watching

HBelmont67

Though, that glance towards Montana makes me wonder: is she taller than Kenny? It's hard to tell cause we always see them sitting down. 🤔

HBelmont67

Not only that, but ending Vigilantes should be around the time for Kaiju No. 8 season two.

Yuma Nanami

Yeah but there are putting out 2 HxH Videos a week already

Syphonics

i think there's parts of it they wouldn't like, but a lot of it they would. no different from a lot of shows here

StorytellerDave

Honestly it is better to pretend that there's only one season.

StorytellerDave

All names in Frieren are German words lol There's a theory that it's because the entire story is a fairy tale told centuries or millenia later and basic details survived that long, like how fairy tales have names like Little Red Riding Hood or Snow White, just basic descriptors.

Erin Ryan

I love how the only time we see full powered frieren is when shes fighting herself

Holycrow16

Weird recommendation, but y'all should watch Madoka Magica
