Kenny is officially in his animator era lol Mobs artstyle really makes the animation shine and much more is possible bc the art also helps suspends the suspension of disbelief when they mix and change stylistic aspects, like doing mixed media or stretching proportions

so the webcomic does a better job after this of showing it, but every time he goes 100% its specifically one emotion that is doing it, like here being rage. the anime wont always say what that emotion is so might be fun to like try to point to what emotion is exploding when it does

How I got it, is that he experiences emotions all the time but suppresses it. And as we all know constantly bottling up what you feel is not healthy so he explodes when he reaches 100% And the "I'm terrible" probably comes from him feeling guilty bc he is losing control and if someone this powerful loses control that's bad. Also him being a bit autistic makes it troublesome to "get a clue"/" Read the room" or vice versa be read by other people.

I love how being "the strongest" in each universe usually isolates you and makes you more of a "tool" than being a human. Everyone wants to use mob. Everyone wants to use Gojo. Everyone wants to use Levi/Eren Everyone wants to use Arima Etc It's one of my favorite themes in media

I do think Reigen is a bit manipulative at times but I also think that Reigen is not really a parent/teacher and the way Mob explains things makes it hard to give advice. But with both Reigen and dimple it kinda irked me that they just make so many assumptions about Mob

Watching Mob and To Be Hero X at the same time is wild from an artistic standpoint. One being goofy caricatures, the other being the most gorgeous and smooth 2D and 3D animation I have seen since Arcane. It feels a bit weird going directly from one to the other lol

Honestly I think he is really helpful for Mob. I dont think Mob cares about money whatsoever, but the things Mob does care about, Reigen pretty much always helps him with in my opinion

Mob is a character archetype term used for a random background character in media. Reason Kageyama is nicknamed this is because he's a bland boy with a bland face and bland personality to the point where if this anime wasn't about him, you'd never notice him at all.
