People in Japanese media soemtimes shrink when they age. It's a trope based on the fact that we shrink when we age. It happened to Himmel and Gran Torino too

Jojo Garlin

Fun fact Zeno (Killua’s Grandfather) Has the second longest range of “En” in the series

I love the Zoldycks. I'd be down for sort of a spin off all about following Killua and his family

The Legendaria

Thank you for including me 🌟❤️ And no it wasn't shown that she touched the handmark but that isn't difficult for chrollo I mean just look at how fast he knocked her out. He did it off screen basically And if the original holder of an ability dies Chrollo also looses the ability almost all of the time. There are some exceptions tho. That's why he said Don't touch the car she's in. And yes he doesn't copy it but steals it.

Kaiju No. 8 season two starts streaming in two weeks on the 19th (likely a simuldub, meaning you hopefully won't have to wait for the dub), but if you decide to start it, be sure to check out the bonus episode that came out today, Hoshina's Day Out. 😎

I love this episode so much, it’s so much fun, the next one is even better because of the character dynamics imo. I know y’all are already ahead, so Chrollo is rarely outmatched, he is hella smart. Chrollo is a character I love to hate, he is so cool and he irritates me so much. Also, I love Silva, I love how menacing his eyes are. Also, Zeno being short af is just an anime trope: old people are short LOL.

The hollow purple comment is pretty spot on, Gege, the author of JJK famously has an entire bookshelf in their office dedicated to HxH volumes/merch lol

about the height of Silva Zoldyckand zeno zoldyck it can skip a generation type of thing. I’ve known people who had shortish parents, but they usually have a random relative a generation or two back who was ridiculously tall. another reason is that anime always has old people short lol

Netflix just announced their follow-up to Cyberpunk Edgerunners is in production. 🥲

Love the fact that an HxH reaction landed on my birthday. Absolutely lovely!

One thing worth remembering is that Gon and Killua only really just completed basic training and then stopped. Killua hasn't even been in a proper fight since then. Obviously they have a ton of natural talent but in the grand scheme of things they are still beginners. Kurapika definitely did get some more advanced combat training but even he's not that much stronger in general; Chain Jail is kind of just a cheat code against Troop members specifically

Erin Ryan

You know they're cooked in hunter x hunter when they pull up with a with a normal weapon

Alseriph

Kenny I love you so much, but I think you over complicated things for yourself. “He turned the owl into a book!” - Montana: “Or he just listed his power in his journal.” Love you both, love you trying to figure out peoples powers in this complicated system. It’s only gonna get better.

The reason the guard feels as if he can talk down to Kurapika is because Kurapika was hired by the 10 dons to kill the Troupe, and that guard is higher in the chain of command. This supersedes his employment from the Nostrade family because they are subordinates to another family that belongs to the 10 Dons. So although the Nostrade family asked him to protect the daughter he should actually be out doing the job he was hired for

OceanPhantom

Idk if it’s been said before but even with emperor time kurapika is still a novice at this point in the story im fairly certain chrollo could have annihilated him here simply because broken abilities do not translate to battle experience he was lucky to have been called back
