Enjoy! We are SO excited for another amazing month, the first of YEAR 6 AS A CHANNEL, and we couldn't have done it without you guys! Truly want to thank each and every one of you from the bottom of our hearts, you are the real MVP. Here's to an amazing August, starting with flipping HxH and MOB over just the next 2 days, basically are filming Mob tomorrow and had another episode of hxh to thats coming Friday instead, back to normal next week!!

How to train your dragon trilogy (if yall haven't seen them) Shows: Yu yu hakusho Dr stone Vigilantes And perhaps some new "Letts Game" content with yall playing through campaigns and one/both of yall reacting? (2018 God of War, for example)

HTTYD would be perfect for them. Vikings. Blacksmithing (which I think kenny done once) cute animals and a dad for montana to analyze lol. Kenny would love lotr but they're so long it'd be a big commitment. Though they aren't so long it's not doable I don't think

Just . . . three more months? Wow, that kinda flew by. I guess it helps that K & M were behind the actual season seven finale, so it hasn't felt as long. 😅 They finished (at least on YouTube) in February, whereas the actual season ended back in October.

So, there was some drama with react channels regarding Lord of the Mysteries recently. Basically Lord of the Mysteries is a really dense and complex show that goes pretty dang fast, and a bunch of people were mad about some reaction channels not taking the time to pause and discuss and think through things and go back for a sec to re-watch what characters said and the entire time I heard about this whole dang debacle all I was thinking was - Kenny and Montana would freaking DISSECT this show. I love that you guys really take your time with shows and discuss them in detail. Never feel the need to rush through stuff <3

Damn I didn't even think about the individual items for why they'd love HTTYD, great points! 🤣 Hell, if they had to split the watch into multiple sessions and then spliced them together (which i think maybe they had to do for one of the movies they watched before maybe?) Or even more than one video per movie, I'd still be down. I (and im sure most of us) would absolutely LOVE to see Kenny explore middle earth!

I would definitely agree with the Lord of the rings and how to train your dragon requests. Tolkien's world building is awesome and the movies are epic nerdiness.

Id love for them to do bleach, but I think the ONLY way it gets done is in the primary, multi episode slot that HxH currently has. The highest episode count they've done so far is MHA with 159. Bleach is almost 400 (unless you cut the filler) so that would be a MASSIVE undertaking! Haha

If they EVER decide to make the jump to romance anime, I feel like Horimiya would be a good starting point. It's incredibly sweetbabd funny, with a phenomenal main cast of side characters, and a great English dub to boot.

I think Black Clover would be more likely than Bleach, since it's (currently) not much longer than MHA was. I'd like it, too. Black Clover's a ton of fun.

At the moment, Vox Machina's probably the show they're closest to finishing (or, at least, wrapping up), but I doubt they're gonna change their format by doing an anime on the western days. I just hope they'll at least give an answer on what their plan is for Kaiju No. 8, cause I was pretty confident it would just get its own day.

Fruits Basket is a really great series that I think would be a really good starting place for them to explore more drama and romance focused anime over action heavy ones. It would also be a good series for them to watch to get into shoujo anime, since Furuba is often seen as a good "starter" shoujo. Furuba does have romance in it, but I often don't consider it a *romance* anime. For me, it is more of a family drama first and foremost with coming-of-age elements to it, which is where the romance comes in. It's a series that deals with a lot of heavy topics and a lot of character focused stuff that I think Montana would absolutely love. Fruits Basket is considered a classic and set a lot of the groundwork that we see in more modern shoujo (and probably even some modern day shonen romances), it has characters of various ages and isn't regulated to *just* a high school setting or *just* high school romances. It has a lot of other stuff going on with it (and even a tiny bit of action! lol) that I think would make the transition to more drama, romance, and/or shoujo based series goes more smoothly for them.

Question, Is there an official place to suggest shows? Cause if so, I have a suggestion. Bleach (it was my gateway anime so it holds a special place in my heart). I think it's great, it's one of the big three shonen anime, alongside One Piece, and Naruto, however it is criminally underrated compared to those two. Almost no one reacts to it. It's also a fairly long anime so it could replace hunter x hunter when they are finished with that. Unless of course there's already a show lined up.

By the by, the other Critical Role show the Mighty Nein, that animates their second campaign, set after the events of Vox Machina, releases its first season November 19th, which if my math is correct, would be the same week when you finish Vox Machina Season 3. It's like it was meant to be! The dates just perfectly align. Tbh Campaign 2 is my favourite of theirs, I love the characters in it the most, even more than Vox Machina, though I do very much like Vox Machina too. People make the comparison that if Vox Machina are the Avengers, then Mighty Nein are the Guardians of the Galaxy and it's an apt comparison in a lot of ways. Mighty Nein has the perfect mix of humor and heartfelt moments.
