Rico

Hell ya!

Shin-Ah

Let's go

Raven

You kind of caught a bit of it at the end there, but not only are the lyrics similar to the first opening, the band is the same as well for this opening! Very cool to have the very first opening of My Hero and the very last opening for my hero share the same band, really is just one of many nice details to bring this series to a close

Æther Paradox

So… no Bakugo in the intro… looks TOUGH for Dynamight. 😭

HBelmont67

It is GOOD to be back! 🥳👏🏼

Erin Ryan

I noticed that AFOs quirks are pretty weak because the ones he stole were before quirks devopled super strongly, and never trains and strengthens a specific quirk. He cheats by pushing these quirks way past their limits causing him to injure himself but just regenerates. BUT now its causing him to rewind faster

HBelmont67

I know some were a little miffed that the first part of the episode was essentially recap, but I feel like it was more than necessary. Season seven was the the only one the ended on an honest to goodness cliffhanger, so there was a LOT going on that people had probably forgotten about.

HBelmont67

They talked about this last season season

Erin Ryan

*Murder God Explosion Dynamight

Erin Ryan

Its so peak I could rewatch it 100 times and still get hyped

HBelmont67

*GREAT Explosion Murder God Dynamite

HBelmont67

About that Kuneide guy, I'm pretty sure he's voiced by Hoshina. That means he's also the Future Devil from Chainsaw Man and Lower Moon One Enmu from Demon Slayer: Mugen Train.

Limini

Kenny is so excited he's fumbling the intro he's been doing for years

Erin Ryan

The animation has been unbelievably incredible. Horikoshi is one of the best new gen artists imo too I'm so glad its getting the attention it deserves

Limini

After having already watched the episode, watching it again in dub feels so new. The intro narration had a different mood to it i think for example

Erin Ryan

The ending is really great too lowkey makes me tear up. Deku has grown so much

Limini

Regarding win to save, save to win, all might really is giving bakugo here. Like entering every fight never thinking he would lose. Peak symbol of victory

KaladinStormLight

I hope you watch Re:zero -Starting Life in Another World- after this its a complete switch up the whiplash would be fun to see!

HBelmont67

Definitely one of my favorites in the series

HBelmont67

It would be SO great if they considered keeping this slot open a little while longer for My Hero Academia: Vigilantes after they finish the Final Season. What helps is that if they hopped onto it, by the end they would be able to start season two of Vigilantes, which is airing in January of next year.

Tyler Owens

Kenny’s genuine joy for MHA heals my soul a little bit

HBelmont67

This is clearly one of his favorites to watch on the channel, and it shows. ☺️

Limini

Seriously MHA is so inspiring. Whenever i feel unmotivated i just tell myself "plus ultra" even if that just means smiling through the last 15 min of my shift lol

Ferret

I'm watching the subs as they come out and then the dubs again and my god this season is so fucking peak.

HBelmont67

Aoyama and Hagakure's team-up this episode is easily one of my favorite Class 1-A moments, both in animation and execution. It's always great when the series puts characters with compatible Quirks together and demonstrates HOW they're compatible with each other. We even got a Hagakure face reveal, and she looks adorable. I think my favorite detail is the hair and how messy it is; you can tell she's never had maintained it a day in her life. ☺️

HBelmont67

Also, for any Dr Stone fans (you know who you are 😉), Hagakure has the same voice as Kohaku! 🦍

Ferret

Also, still can't believe Horikoshi went and made the prettiest girl in 1A permanently invisible.

Erin Ryan

SHE IS NOT A GORILLA!

Himiko Toga

Afo dub is so good like 😭

HBelmont67

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Sorry, I had to

HBelmont67

Girl, fr. I don't know if it's still Ryan Negron voicing these different versions of All For One or if they'll get different voice actors for different ages, but regardless: the voice-acting and dialogue is PHENOMENAL.

HBelmont67

Will you change, especially for your questions for next episode (wink wink, nudge nudge) 👀

Eiríkur Eiríksson

The fun thing about the intro is that it's again PornoGraffitti but also in your s1 reactions you mention Bump of Chicken, who are the ones who did the outro song.

HBelmont67

Horikoshi's an evil genius for that. 🤣 Also, props to Ojiro. He bagged the prettiest girl in his class and didn't even realize. 🥰

𝖐𝖆𝖙𝖘𝖚𝖐𝖎 𝖇𝖆𝖐𝖚𝖌𝖔𝖆𝖙

*spoilers* Yes but I forgot that my profile will change all over patreon so I don't want to spoil anyone with my name that sees a comment I may have left on other channels when I was watching mha. So I'll probably go with Kacchan BakuGOAT since that's much less spoilery unless you know what happens already and then it's not a spoiler at all. It just looks like a play on his name in general.

Alex

i need to know where you got that shirt

Erin Ryan

He is truly the Bakugoat

Kiribukai

GUYS 😭 I am so glad we are here for season 8 but simultaneously heart broken this is the end for MHA! I LOVE seeing our OG hero All Might back in action! And then Stain showing up at the end to help stop AFO was *chefs kiss* Can’t wait for more of this season!! ❤️

HBelmont67

Forreal. Season one of the Vigilantes anime was really good, but I've read the manga, and it gets SO much better.

HBelmont67

I, too, am in support of Dr Stone coming to the channel, and after Mob Psycho 100 is probably the soonest available opportunity. Here's the thing: new seasons of both Jujutsu Kaisen AND Frieren: Beyond Journey's End are coming in January of next year, which should fall right not long before they wrap up Mob Psycho 100. I worry that they may prioritize those over a new series. 😬

HBelmont67

As for the other one, while I am interested in Mighty Nein and this Patreon would be the most efficient way for me to see it, as I don't have Prime, I'm still in support of Castlevania. If it ain't clear from my name, I REALLY freaking enjoy that show, and after that post discussing which western show to come next and seeing how many others also want Castlevania to come after, this is the best chance to make it happen.

SnowPossum000

I would absolutely sign up to be flower food lol.

Erin Ryan

All Might used all of his students powers except bakugous lol poor guy. His would probably be the most simple too just throw a grenade lol

HBelmont67

Anyone else notice that the light is now COMPLETELY back in both of All Might's eyes? 😊

RealDeal

Do you plan on reacting to MHA Vigilantes?

HBelmont67

Be awesome if they did, especially with season two coming in January.

Robert

Glad to to see your reaction to the finale to this amazing series! And I hope you guys react to the new ED (Ending) that starts in episode 2, it's something special.

Natsuo Todoroki

I think they did express interest at some point? Like, it was up on a voting thing I think

Natsuo Todoroki

Hard to believe this is almost over. It’s been a REALLY long journey. Also yeah All Might is awesome.

HBelmont67

Back in April before they picked Vinland Saga, yeah

HBelmont67

I have a question: have you read the manga now that it's over

Natsuo Todoroki

Wait H-Bomb is that you?! Also yeah I read it a while back.

HBelmont67

First, yeah it's me. Secondly, spoilers You've been rocking that Natsuo pfp for a LONG time, but you think you'll change it later in the season when the Todoroki Family plotline concludes? Cause no offense, but Natsuo looks WAY better with the short hair, imo.

Natsuo Todoroki

Long time no see! And maybe I will. The hair is eventually grown out again in the epilogue but who knows? Maybe if there’s a shot I like in that episode

Gestrid

I'M BACK FOR MORE MY HERO ACADEMIA!!!

Gestrid

Not only is "THE DAY HAS COME" a reference to the first opening, it's the same band as the first opening.

Gestrid

By the way, the intro changes. We've already gotten at least one new version of the intro, so it wouldn't surprise me if we get more throughout the season.

Gestrid

SPOILERS He gets added to the intro in S8E3. :)

Gestrid

It's like how Attack on TItan brought back Linked Horizon (band that sang OP1, OP2, OP3, ED4, and OP5) to sing the very final ending song for the final special after being absent for the entire rest of the Final Season. It wouldn't have felt complete without them making an appearance.

Æther Paradox

I know... that is the point 🤣 you didn't need to do this 🤣

HBelmont67

I think All For One's young glowing form is my favorite design of his, and the VA (whether it's the same you get voice actor as last season, Ryan Negron or someone else) is killing it. Also, love how he wanted to start by messing up All Might's face like he did to him. AFO is up there with Reverse Flash and Dr. Doom in terms of pettiness. 😅

Babybear47

Kitchen sink quirk lol love it

Babybear47

When all for one is glowing and asked all might where his smile is he kinda sounds like shigaraki to me a little

Babybear47

Wait you can see invisible girl more 27:36 like she's still kinda glowing but I didn't see the intro/outro till now.

Babybear47

The only actual character that have died have been adults excluding bakugo but like he's fine edshot gots it lol

Babybear47

I kinda wonder how stain got that glider cuz damn we've had all this time and that's the first time in the series that we've seen it like where has that been lol

Babybear47

Wait if you dress up the the invisible girl but all glowing like does that mean technically your naked or can you just make a body suit look glowie and dress like that??? I mean your not naked but also your suppose to be cuz it's skin tight. Oh wait what about those painting body arts that be another idea!!

Babybear47

I think all for one living for as long as he has and what he's done over all mights years and before him, I think it be satisfying to just see him vaporize, like how Thanos does his snapping the finger to make half the world's people disappear.... I mean way to make it dramatic like he always has been but lol just think it's like a satisfying disappearing

Minus Mega

Same here one of the best episodes of the series :/

Owenmestackz

I like watching these with y’all’s validating reactions

Owenmestackz

Those edits where yall are bakugo and dabi are great

Mekar

I like the detail of the "all the heroes but one have been incapacitated" narration. The frame shows Can't Stop Twinkling while saying it, giving the impression that it's him. But he's in the same shape as Fat Gum at the time, he's also incapacitated. The only hero that was actually still standing was Invisible Girl.

awildjord

pls tell me someone is going to bring up the fact that the screen for us just says "top twink" at 21:08

Charles Arias

Such a strong start to what is shaping up to be an incredible season 🙌🏾

Day

Is it just me or do we love the fact that they got the same artist for the first season opening to do the last 😭

Marco Garcia

I actually liked the Green Day shirt with the neckless out ngl
