Yes, I love that you talk about the experience thing. We have seen it with Morel already, both Cheetu and Leol were probably stronger than him in raw, physical prowess. But thanks to his superior knowledge and experience, Morel was able to outsmart them. Netero is the same. And it proves again and again, that the kings inital assumption was wrong. Pure power is not the most powerful thing in the world.

Guan Yin specifically is a very prominent Boddhisatva in chinese Buddhism, she plays a pretty big role in "The journey" to the west. Btw Neteros flashback was when he was around 50 and then narrator said that it was over 6 decades ago. I don't think anyone can live to 1000 in this universe even with nen not 100% sure tho
