Why do you think Maki & Mai’s mom did that to Naoya

Lyrical Kell of Music

Genral thoughts on the episode? This one in particular has split some of the fan base between if they think this episode was great or trash.

Chris Collier

Why do you think Maki’s mother said she was happy she gave birth to her, after stabbing Noaya, even though she was so cruel before? I interpreted it as her respecting maki’s choice to destroy the culture of oppression that she was unable to escape. But what do you think

george

i wonder why some fans hated it? i loved it. the whole scene with mai and maki on the beach, the fighting. one minute i was crying the next i was cheering maki on

After seeing Maki reach Toji levels of strength what are your future expectations for Maki when it comes to future conflicts.

Lyrical Kell of Music

How do you think maki will be after the slaughter and do you think she will consider this a win? Sure she got revenge for her abuse but lost mai in the process, and from her talk with megumi prior she wanted to eventually lead the clan to be better, but she ended the clan as Mai’s final request

Lyrical Kell of Music

We know that cursed tools can have some pretty crazy abilities, what do you think the sword Mai made as she died can do ?

Lyrical Kell of Music

In this episode we see that the jujutsu power system messes up when dealing with identical twins, what do you think about this universes magic system being fallible, it can glitch out like with reanimated toji going on a rampage the reanimation technique losing its termination trigger

WhitehairedSatoruGojo

What grade do you think Maki is now after defeating semi grade one sorcerers and above?

Gastar805

Everyone else is already asking character or story related questions, so here's mine. We can all agree that seperate from his personality, naoya and his powers and the way he uses them is cool as fuck right? If you do like naoyas power, what are some of your potential ideas for cursed techniques or powers that you might not see in your typical Shonen that you think might appear in the series?

Chris Collier

Why do think Naoya, and the clan as a whole, were so fixated on Toji. Even going so far as to compare her to him, and being unable to recognize her as a threat all on her own?

Zeckrack

Now that you saw maki fully unlocked who do you think is stronger maki or toji

Daolord Badlands

Why do you think Maki's mom was trying so hard to keep her from the clan vault, assuming she was likely aware of what was waiting for her in there? Do you think she was too shocked and fearful to understand Maki's question before her throat was slit?

Zeckrack

Through out the show we have seen that the zenin clan has been horrible, do you think the other clans are just as worse?

BetterCallVee

What kind of future consequences could you see as a result, now that one of the three major clans has been eradicated?? Would you lean more in the direction of chaos and doom (more so than already present) or could you see it as a starting point for a shift in jujutsu society??

Wolffe5989

This is more so a heads up than a question but next weeks episode there is a transfem character called Kirara and I know you respect trans characters like magne from MHA so I’d thought I’d let you know since shonen jump is very strict on LGBTQ characters so authors have to find work arounds by using context clues that a majority of the loud jjk “fans” can’t pick up Thank you for your time and I love your channel ❤️

Chris Collier

You beat me to it lol. Thank you Wolffe!

Wolffe5989

You are welcome 🙏🏻

Abuse, control/lack there of, and the hierarchy imposed by misogyny are deeply intertwined. In episode 1 of this season we see Naoya tell Maki and Mai's mom that a woman should always walk behind a man. How do you think this episode represented the way violence/abuse travels through family and how one person can play multiple roles within the family unit?

Christopher Johnson

This episode has been controversial with fans, with some saying that the music and general vibes of the fight scene doesn’t go well with the more emotional moments and themes of the episode. Do you agree with or understand these criticisms or did you whole heartedly love this episode?

Juan Solo

From what I've heard the episode's direction (specifically the action) wasn't well received in Japan. Apparently the tone was expected to be more tragic than cathartic. It's kind of like how CSM S1 wasn't as well received in Japan because of its cinematic direction.

Himiko Toga

Given how the zenin clan react to Maki being like Toji, with fear and desperation, what do you think is the psychology behind them treating them both with hatred and disgust for having no cursed energy, calling them weak, even though they all clearly fear the strength they have.

With an episode that highlights gender dynamics and draws parallels between two characters. How do you think gender norms might have impacted why two similar in nature characters ended up going in such different directions? They both could've taken action, one of them had the advantage of being a man which we see in the way they were perceived, and yet only one of them had been seeking to create change from the start.

HBelmont67

Wonder how the character is gonna sound in the English dub. 🤔 Do we at least know who the voice actor will be?

HBelmont67

Why do you think Maki chose not to spare her mother of the rest of the Zenin clan's fate, given she herself was a victim of the same misogyny as her?

Wolffe5989

Don’t know but I hope they get a trans voice actor to voice her maybe Kayleigh McKee can have 2 roles in jjk

HopelesslyImmersed

Compared to other clans the Zenin appear to be very rooted in their traditions and misogyny. Its not hard to notice but how crazy is it that the only female casualty Maki had was her own mother? The Zenin clan only existed because of Toji's whim. Toji was treated as poorly as Maki because of his heavenly restriction. Yet he spared the clan because he believed his son would thrive there. What are your thoughts behind the Toji aura Maki produced to scare her father shitless?

TrashMan

On a scale from 1-10, how satisfying was Maki punching Naoya?

OFF SKRIPT!

Hey! First off, I love your reactions — happy to be here. With Maki in her current state, how impactful do you think she would’ve been during the Shibuya Incident? Do you think she’d be stronger than Mahoraga, Jogo, or Sukuna?

RagingM0ng00se

In the last season, Sukuna told Jogo as he was dying that he should have discarded all his ideals and beliefs if he ever wanted to rise to the level of power he wanted, and now in this season we see Maki rise to levels of power far beyond what almost any sorcerer is capable of, but she lost her heart in the process and seemingly part of her humanity. With the peak powerhouses of the series so far being set up as being either more or less than human (Gojo, Sukuna, and now Toji/Maki), do you think achieving that level of strength does always come with a loss of some of your humanity, or that it fundamentally changes you in some way?

Ramon Fax!

Toji struck fear in the Zenin Clan 2 decades ago yet they never learned their lesson to not mess with people with Heavenly Pacts. Do you think they all deserved this fate?

Kavian brown

What do you think of the zennin clan seeing maki as toji zennin and maki being as strong as toji
