HBelmont67

The dichotomy of THIS episode's animation compared to the episode of Invincible earlier today.

Larry Isaac

I was just about to go to sleep😂. Now it’s JJK time lol🔥

Gabe

My favorite episode!!

True form Sukuna revealed let’s goooo!!

Lyrical Kell of Music

I think this is the best fight in the series so far, it flowed perfectly and just non stop impactful action

ShaquanVirse

This aint the finale of the season, this just cour 1 - Cour 2 release January 2027

HBelmont67

Dang, so both JJK AND Frieren are coming back next year.

HBelmont67

I think that Ishigori's Granite Blast has the same sound effect as Aoyama's Naval Laser from MHA, and now I can't unhear it lol. 🤣🤣🤣

Relliar

I think because she's an ancient sorceror she doesn't have the knowledge to describe spatial manipulation other than the "sky", it'd be like if Gojo didn't have the math terms for limitless.

Tyler

I haven't read the manga for jjk so I cannot wait to see how insane Yuji is gonna go next season if this was the bar thats been set by Maki, Megumi and Yuta

David Garcia

The fact Aleks Le also did Kuro is fantastic

Juan Solo

It is. Part 2 will be next season.

Juan Solo

Before Yuta broke the deadlock, each of the four players had a technique that countered one another. Dhruv's technique countered Kurourushi, since he could command his shikigami to create paths around it's swarms (which is why Kurourushi went dormant until Dhruv was eliminated). Kurourushi's swarms countered Uro, since she was susceptible to being overwhelmed by multiple attacks in quick succession (which is why Uro attacked Yuta immediately after Kurourushi was exorcised). Uro's technique countered Ryu, since she could easily redirect any of his energy blasts. Ryu's technique countered Dhruv, since Ryu could attack from long range outside of Dhruv's shikigami paths.

Juan Solo

I saw a comment from another reaction video that pointed out how each of the major players in the Sendai Colony were the Four Horseman. Dhruv was Conquest (before Yuta took his place), Uro is War, Ryu is Famine, and Kurourushi was Death.

Juan Solo

I'd consider them low-end Special Grades, since they were in a deadlock with Dhruv (who conquered Japan in the past).

Juan Solo

A quirk that allows the user to fire lasers from their hair is definitely something that would be in MHA. Now I'm imagining which cursed techniques could exist as quirks in MHA (and vice versa).

HBelmont67

I loved the dessert motif with Ishigori's fight. 🎂 🍪 It's so unserious, but it doesn't take away from the spectacle at ALL. 🤣🤣 Aleks Le knows how to toe that line EXTREMELY well. 😎

Juan Solo

I actually saw a meme that said "how am I supposed to go back to Invincible after this" in response to the triple DE.

HBelmont67

Yeah, all these amazing anime airing at the same time is NOT making Invincible look good. That may be unfair, but it's the truth.

HBelmont67

It's the EXACT SAME power, but for some reason, coming from the hair makes it look cool instead of silly. 😅 Also, with her pink skin and dark eyes, Uro looks like if Mina became a villain. 🩷😈

Juan Solo

I'd say it's about as silly, its just more powerful, and it doesn't give Ryu a migraine every time he uses it for more than a second. 😆 Appearance aside, Uro gives me Lady Nagant vibes (which fits since they share a VA).

Indifferent Denji

Its not split into cours "part 2" is officially season 4

Popsus

I am not. Give me a pallet cleanser. That was just warming up.

Anko

You're actually confusing the arc and the season! This was 'Season 3: The Culling Game Part 1' and next season is 'Season 4: The Culling Game Part 2'. TOHO just named it weirdly lol. But hey, at least we get more in Jan '27 :)

MrCoffee

been waitin for this :D

no u uwu

Ryu Ishigori, the goat.

Saiyasha

"Do we have a release date for the next season?" I felt Montana on that so hard

HBelmont67

Vibes and design aside, Uro's Cursed Technique is EASILY one of my favorites. It's like Gentle Criminal's Quirk, but turned up to an eleven. 🤯

HBelmont67

He blueballed us from the Triple Domain Expansion. I can't forgive that. 😤

HBelmont67

True, but I can wait a year after THAT good a meal. 😋 Give me an opportunity to actually get caught up haha. I'm still on season one.

Geese

Absolute peak, I've watched this episode like ten times now. This is something I had been waiting for from the manga and man did they absolutely nail it, so huge love to the animators, directors, writers and actors and everyone who made this episode happen because WOW. I really enjoy watching characters genuinely have it to give it their all to get a through a situation, and this fight is a great example of three very high tier sorcerers having to dig deep to go toe to toe with each other. I love the concept of the four way deadlock as well, the way that each of their techniques are hard counters for the technique of another of the four is just brilliantly laid out. The animation this episode is also obviously insanely good and the choreography, direction, and camera work they did was also top tier stuff imo. Loved that we got our first real look at Sukuna is his real body here too, and they did a great job of making him look monstrous and barely human even though he was only there for a brief moment. I will say, for this episode in particular at least I preferred the Japanese performance a bit more. Especially Ryu, which is not to discredit to Aleks Le in the slightest, Hiroki Tochi just delivered the lines in a way that really stuck with me lmao. Loved this episode, thank you guys for the reaction, and thanks to the people who worked on this for the excellent meal :).

Sorted Jovanny

I think the desert motif is serious..he wanted to give a 120% of his all and more

Filip ivis

Ishigori's technique being a giant cursed energy laser is cool but its described as "Cursed Energy Discharge" so my thought is he just chooses to do the lasers since its the quickest way to deal a lot of damage and control the discharge, but I imagine that he can also infuse more CE into his strikes as well bcz of his technique, as we see him do when he pushed Yuta off of him at the start of their fight. I can only imagine what kind of devestating damage a black flash with that CE output would do.

HBelmont67

It's serious to him, but funny to us. 🤣

HBelmont67

No one tell Maki that Yuta kissed a bug. 🤮

Ramon Fax!

I thought he took a bite

Divine General

This is perhaps my favorite adaptation ever. I've already watched this episode like 10 times, just phenomenal. Uro and Ryu were so cool especially Ryu. And Kurourushi was also surprisingly cool for a cockroach cursed spirit.

Himiko Toga

It's literally a fact. Yutan even says it's space manipulation. She's really just from a time where space wasn't a thing, so sky. 😌

Himiko Toga

Kenny is literally the ONLY reactor I've seen notice they were all pulling domain hand signs before they said it 😭

DarkHorse24

I might be wrong but I think Uro is a special first grade and ryu is special grade because of his cursed energy output but he’s not like Yuta or Gojo special grade. He just nearly made the benchmark for a special grade
