You guys are the best!!

HBelmont67

Thx for staying up to date. Love how Mark with a beard is just Stephen Yuen.

Letts React

were a week ahead of schedule not up to date lol

HBelmont67

Wasn't last week a double drop tho?

HBelmont67

Nolan's thousand yard stare after Oliver's lobster story had me DYING. 🤣🤣 Ever since season one, we've been more focused on him being a better person that we haven't gotten to see him be an awkward dad. 😂

PaulFection

The ending was such a troll.

Letts React

We double dropped then dropped an additional this week. We are a week ahead of schedule check the calendar

In only have patreon because of you guys 🙏❤️

The Viltramite grave is not something that exists, Nolan created that ritual. If you remember Argyle is the only Viltramite with a monument to him, meaning they don't memoralize the dead. This is Nolan creating a syncretic practice between his cultural understanding of humanity and his symbolism of Viltrum.

HBelmont67

Nolan and Oliver reminded me a lot of Kratos and Atreus this episode. Even the way Nolan described meeting Andressa after leaving Earth felt like how Kratos described his time with Faye after the events of God of War III.

"I wanna see a power display from Thragg" oh trust me you will

HBelmont67

Ask, and ye shall receive . . .

HBelmont67

Yeah, that was my interpretation, too. We've seen how the Viltrumites treat each other, and more importantly, how they treated Conquest. They would not mourn any of their dead, least of all him. This felt less like Nolan honoring Conquest, and more like Nolan trying to be better than he was taught.

AlotOfAliens

I'm not going to sit here and defend Nolan's actions, because they are inexcusable. What I will say is I can understand his mindset. Nolan is over 1000 years old and 99% of his life all he has been taught is what the Viltrumites wanted him to know. I understand why every reactor hates him, which is valid, but he has to try and fight against 1000 years of indoctrination. He IS trying tho.

Joseph

I hope y’all drop ep 7 next week I really want to see your reaction to it so bad but it’s up to you guys since you blessed us with a double drop last week and this ep today

1. Yes, Oliver is attracted to arthropods. He has Thraxan instincts when it comes to what he finds attractive. Just like how Mark has human instincts. 2. Just because someone's awful doesn't mean they don't deserve a burial or to have their corpse desecrated. Nolan sees himself in Conquest. If Conquest doesn't deserve decent treatment for his crimes, then Nolan doesn't. He's trying to be better than the Viltrumites, and show empathy and compassion for his enemies. 3. Thank you so much for reading my question!

Happy birthday, Katsuki Bakugo! 4️⃣2️⃣0️⃣

I think Nolan buried Conquest (and built the monument) not because he deserved it, but rather because he pitied him. Nolan very likely knew that if he hadn't been sent to Earth, he would've eventually became just like Conquest; an old sadistic soldier who's treated as nothing more than a tool for war. Nolan's time on Earth and Thraxa made him introspective and sympathetic to other people's struggles, which includes Conquest. Though it's ironic that by giving him a proper burial Nolan, a traitor to the Empire, showed Conquest more respect than Thragg and the other viltrumites would've.

Free From Her

Nolan's burial of Conquest was acknowledgement of strength. Kinda like what Kenny said it's old viltrumite instinct. But notice the contrasts between Nolan and Mark in this season. Mark is becoming more like a Viltrumite in that he is more ruthless whereas Nolan is becoming more like a human

Rob Carlstrom

Yeah oliver wants that lobster, and not just to eat

Ramon Fax!

Not really crazy that Nolan gave Conquest a grave. In the comics it actually makes a lot more sense, especially considering where Nolan is coming from. Perspective really matters in this situation.

ChipHand Z

Very well put. Couldn’t have said it better myself. We stan an empathetic king 👑

UrsaClaire

I gotta say, the moment they revealed the skull of Argol, I immediately started thinking of Thragg as Kylo Ren whining over his grandpa's helmet.

Ryan Jones

"Bugs eat bugs" - Slur era real?!

HBelmont67

Was that in the comic? 🤣🤣

I take Nolan's line about Conquest being devoted to viltrim differently..its not due to his indoctrination. Its becuase of his new found empathy. Which viltrimites dont have, even for their own kind. He understands that he would be in Conquest's plce if things were different
