y’all are blessing us today 😭🤞

Arell

Thank you so much

Yessssssssss

HBelmont67

I don't really have any western shows in mind to come next, but for anime, Dr Stone absolutely NEEDS to come next. After your positive first impressions with Apothecary Diaries, I can tell you would love Dr Stone, as well.

SwiftVandal

Fun Fact: While Thaedus is voiced by the VA for Optimus Prime, Emperor Argal is voiced by Frank Welker, the voice of Megatron

Schlong Shucker

Goddamn is there a reason you’re posting so frequently? I mean I appreciate it but still

HBelmont67

Maybe it has to do with the fact that season four ends tomorrow.

HBelmont67

We were all making that joke when we learned of Thaedus' past in episode two. I didn't expect the show to actually DO IT. 🤣

HBelmont67

Thragg heard all the fraud allegations from last episode and SWIFTLY corrected them.

Letts React

We thought why not post Invincible early! Since we’re so close to the end of the season

HBelmont67

It's such a an interesting character choice for Thragg's mercy (the emotion most foreign to Viltrumites) to be his greatest mistake. If he had acted on his suspicions of Thaedus, then Argal wouldn't have been assassinated, the Purge wouldn't have occurred, and the Scourge Virus would have never been created. Even more interesting is to see Thragg show mercy AGAIN at the end of the episode. Thragg's becoming one of my favorite characters in the series cause of how nuanced he is.

Schlong Shucker

I think the thing about a berserker/“just want a good fight” character that is always so entertaining and undeniably likable is that without any sort of unique ideology or plan, other than their own death, it doesn’t leave a lot of room for them to be self righteous or hypocritical, because all he wants is that

HBelmont67

Battle Beast, Thorkell, Inosuke, Kaiju No 10, Rappa. It never gets old.

WhitehairedSatoruGojo

Emperer Argull said to Thragg "if you think his weakness is bad for the empire do what you must" but Thragg chose to stand up for his "buddy/friend" and was like "maybe i was mistaken" not that Argull told him to do something and he didn't. I'm not sorry but Oliver deserved that a** whopping from Thragg because your dad and brother said no dont challenge thragg alone and he saw him punch nolen to viltrum and back out into orbit in a single punch mind you and bro was still delusional and said "Nah i'd win". Oliver you ain't Satoru Gojo.

Contrastjd

The viltrumite emperor (not thragg) was voice acted by Megatron

Joseph

I really hope for to be hero x to be next after this but I doubt it I’m really hoping that you guys react to it this year

HBelmont67

You know an episode is amazing when they BARELY stop to discuss during its runtime.

Daran Tung

WAR IS OVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR (By 'war' I mean, me waiting for you guys to post this specific episode)

HBelmont67

I do wish that we had gotten an interaction between BB and Mark this episode, considering how things went down the LAST time they met . . . I doubt Mark would debate to his inclusion, given they need all the fighters they can get. I just think it would've been awkward and hilarious.

HBelmont67

Okay, Battle Beast haha

Kade

Oh stop you’re spoiling me now.

mal

that “I CHOOSE DEATH” scene was my favorite part of the episode

KrakenKing

We are way too excited about destroying a plant and driving a species to extinction.

VVenture

I love how this episode really gets across just how fundamentally stupid Viltrumite society is, just blindly offing half their species because ‘ehh why not?’

ShaquanVirse

They explained the gun already back in S2 why he cant fire it so much

Letts React

They are horrible and only kill in the universe, to the point where there isn’t a single viltrumite under thrash not committing atrocities.

HBelmont67

The beam cuts through ANYTHING, and it literally doesn't stop. You can't exactly rapid-fire it.

HBelmont67

Not to mention the planet was empty

Ramon Fax!

True but the planet was empty so they're good.

KrakenKing

Spoken like a true Viltrumite.

KrakenKing

If there was a nation of people on Earth who only ever advocated for war against their neighbors, would it then be ok to wipe said country off the face of the planet and genocide the people there?

Kika gama

So Kenny, ur under a misconception, and not understanding why conquest really died. Viltrumites can hold their breath for weeks... The reason conquest died, wasn't because he was out of breathe.... It's just that a chokehold restricts blood flow to the brain.. that's why he died. It's the same reason why a mma fighter will put u out in 4 seconds, it doesn't matter if u have the world record in holding ur breath.. if ur put through a chokehold, u will pass out and die if not stopped. I think u might've got confused by the scene where Oliver " needed to breathe" he actually really didn't.. not in the sense of he was in danger of dying but just because they can hold their breath for weeks and not die, it doesn't mean it's pleasant.. specially when ur getting punched in the face and panicking.. so he " needed" to take a breath... But he wasn't going to die from it .

Ramon Fax!

Thank you for getting these episodes out so quickly and for answering my questions.

JOHNNY DABOII

34:00 thank God Kenny doesn't have the gun then because the way how he's describing if he had the gun I would have immediately considered him a threat

Narluga

i think i heard soemthing about viltramite ageing process. that they a long time but once they stop fighting, they begin aging faster. though don't quote me on it

Allermann

Whenever the infinity ray is used on viltrumites it removes matter without applying any directional force, given that wouldnt only fireing it at the planet just leave a hole. just my thought.

LuxLoser

Yeah every pull of the trigger sends death out into the universe. It will keep going, hitting planets, stars, spaceships, people, forever.

Filip ivis

Unironically when you think about it Space racer was the MVP of this fight, took out 3 Viltrumites (and got a bunch of assists with the Ragnars) plus he made it possible for them to take down the entire planet if he's not MVP idk what is. Also there's probably not a lot to go by in terms who would win against who in this fight (other than Thragg of course) because its a fight in space so it's a bit trickier then a fight on a planets surface which would probably favor someone like Battle Beast who needs very breakable equipment to even fight in space and is probably not used to it lol

Lyrical Kell of Music

Going to be honest, I cannot stand Oliver and I think it would be fitting if he died here. Sure I get during the first conquest fight, he had no reference for viltrumite strength, his hero work with mark was 99% being taught how to hold back against those he fights so they don’t instantly kill them. But just bum rushing conquest again and thragg with those cheesy ass one liners is so annoying, idk if we are supposed to find them endearing but if you want people to care about a character, don’t make them do the stupidest thing possible all the time. It’s supposed to be emotional but really, why should I care ? He isn’t brave or courageous, he’s a dumbass with an unearned sense of entitlement and cockiness

Juan Solo

I can understand Thragg choosing not to kill Mark. Someone so young managing to kill the second strongest viltrumite? Thragg very likely sees a lot of potential in him. Leaving Nolan alive though made no sense.

Juan Solo

Is it wrong that I honestly don't feel bad for Oliver? Little bro was WARNED, and he once again didn't listen! He has a real problem with underestimating older fighters and overestimating his own powers.

AlfredoFetus

if the “nation of people” was comprised of only 50 adults that have each likely killed a planets worth of intelligent organisms then yes, they would all need to be killed immediately.

Juan Solo

Considering how deadly the Infinity Ray is, plus the fact that its energy beams are literally infinite, it's definitely for the best that Space Racer isn't trigger happy with it. There's always the risk of killing an ally if he's not careful with it.

Hallofcosts

oliver and techjacket are so worthless the actual powerhouses spend more time saving them than actually fighting

HBelmont67

I mean, did he, though? Thragg punched through Nolan's chest and left him for dead. By comparison, he left Mark far better off.

HBelmont67

Gotta disagree about Tech Jacket. Between hitting Viltrumites with the darts and saving Space Racer, she was niched nicely in as support. Oliver, on the other hand, is just a liability.

KrakenKing

There were billions of them, all men, women, and children before other nations had used a viral agent to ethnically cleanse them, of course.

LuxLoser

Mark, Nolan, and Thaedus would have been slowed down and wounded by all the rock and debris trying to fly straight down. Shooting the planet would just dig a hole, lava would fill it and cause some earthquakes. But to make the planet explode, the trio became a bullet, blasting it apart with the shockwave of their flight.

David Garcia

Thragg is no longer on fraud watch

Dan Cervantes

The holding your breath in space is the most hand wavy bullshit. People needing to breathe is only used as a convenient plot device. I wouldn’t assume any consistency around that in this show. The plot armor is hella strong. A great fight nonetheless!

Letts React

I’m advocating for 1 time spamming it to kill thragg, like pick a direction u know is safe and shoot a line of 5 1 time. But I get being careful with it haha

Raven

So regarding the whole Oliver/Mark/Nolan being alive without being able to breathe, Viltrumites as we know have extreme lung capacity (however as Kenny mentioned, this wouldn't mean you'd be able to breathe while unconscious). I think its similar to how when you stop breathing or someone has drowned, there's a little bit of time before their brain starts to die. I think Viltrumites have a much higher time before their brains start to die from lack of oxygen, but they still need intervention to help with that. For example, if human brains can survive for 4-6 minutes without oxygen, I think it's reasonable to say the Viltrumite brain can do so as well, but for much much longer. It would not surprise me if Conquest would have lived had someone performed CPR on him/helped him breathe after Mark choked him out. (1/2, will add more in my comment because I have a theory on how long this might be)

Raven

(2/2) Humans can hold their breath for around 1-2 minutes without training. When trained, it can be extended to around 3-5 minutes with records reaching 10 minutes to 25 minutes under specific circumstances. We'll go with 3-5 for this example, since it's likely that Mark, Nolan and Oliver HAVE been training to hold their breath longer in space. We know Nolan has gone up to 2 weeks without needing to stop for oxygen before, but that was flying through space supposedly without getting into a huge fight, which would obviously increase his need to breathe. I think its safe to say that a Viltrumite in combat can certainly hold their breath for over an hour, maybe less if they're taking gut punches/any other outside factors. Even then, that's an increase of 1100% from humans and we are LOW BALLING it technically. With that math, if we apply the same % increase to the brain going without oxygen, for a Viltrumite that's still 44 minutes, again, with quite a bit of lowballing. I do think this is probably the reason why unconscious Nolan/Mark/Oliver all survived in space while Conquest did not. Lack of oxygen to the brain WILL kill a Viltrumite the same as a human, but if someone intervenes like what would happen to someone who drowned or stopped breathing, they'll survive (most likely). No one helped Conquest, so he died, but Mark/Nolan/Oliver were all found before going brain dead from lack of oxygen (since it very much seems entirely plausible that time for their brains is different than humans) and hence, survived. That's my theory anyway as to why!

ChipHand Z

And I thank you for it 🙏 this has been an immense joy.

Gage Eakins

Yes I don't understand how this is hard for people to understand. He shot asteroids with it and it did basically nothing to them. The reason he is able to destroy ships with it is because punching a straight hole through all of the sensitive components does a ton of damage.

Kika gama

He's literally, 1 year old, even if u go by " his body age" we would be like 14... Lmao, ur people are so insufferable

Kika gama

He's like 1 year old.. even if u go by " his body" age he would be like 14 but only experienced 1 year of being alive which makes even more immature what do u expect

Lyrical Kell of Music

It’s clearly stated that Oliver ages and matures at a much faster rate than a human or viltrumite, so for all intents and purposes he is a teenager, and like any teenager they have a ton to learn but also ability to flex their autonomy. And he did so choosing to be there in this battle, he has a responsibility to not be absolute cocky dumbass and put EVERYONE AT RISK. If mark acted this way, I would say the same, if Nolan or Allen I would say the same. It isn’t cute, brave or funny, so why should I care when all Oliver does it charge people WAY stronger than him and get ripped limb from limb. Sucks to suck, but hey at least he’s disproving the viltrumite motto that only the strong will survive

HBelmont67

That, and I don't have Amazon Prime haha 😂

hotdog

at 10:19 thats nolans dad in his younger years the studio just used the same model as young nolan but if you look to the right of him you can see nolans mother

Ramon Fax!

No way did they seriously recycle a character model

hotdog

Yeah they reused a few models when showing viltrumites, I've seen Donald and Debbie's models in crowds

Juan Solo

That'd be a more valid excuse if this wasn't the third time he pulled a stunt like this.

ShaquanVirse

we dont know how much time between events or how long full blooded viltrumites take to mature so that could just be Nolan

Erin Ryan

Nolan told mark that he wasnt alive during the purge in season 1 and there would would be no reason to lie about that

speny man

Fun fact emperor Argos voice actor is Megatrons original voice actor frank, it's a fun lil detail considering he is killed by a character with optimus primes voice

Muzan

Not a anime, but i really what you guys to react to “The boys”

JOHNNY DABOII

Man I hope y'all are actually reading the comments cuz some stuff that y'all are saying are wrong and need to be corrected

HBelmont67

Dude, don't try and debate with these kind of takes. It's a waste of your time.

KrakenKing

Believe me, I’ve realized.

Putrefax

I reckon space racer isn't firing the gun all the time because he has to do maths constantly to make sure he's not gonna kill some innocent planet on the other side of the galaxy. Them beams don't stop, y'know

Raymond Smith

When u say ur unconscious and have to breathe I cannot say for sure but I think it is fair to assume viltrumites don't adhere to human rules as they aren't human

Raymond Smith

Yeah I'm agreeing with u, the ability to hold ur breath is a training method to use less air to circulate air thru ur blood stream with less oxygen and if u restrict blood flow to the brain completely ur ability to hold ur breath is irrelevant as the oxygenated blood is no longer traveling to ur brain

Zen Reacts

Comment is more worthless tbh. Oliver sucks but Zoe was actually doing her job so you should probably actually pay attention to the episode next time you watch it

Zen Reacts

We just saw the infinity ray pierce and entire planet. It is not plausible to just spam fire it when every one of those shots could decimate an innocent planet

hotdog

He told Mark he was born after the purge

xman t

They followed the blast because the blast alone wouldnt have destroyed the planet. The blast created a thin hole which likely would have just collapsed in on itself. But their bodies sent shockwaves all through the planet, which was what led to it's actual destruction

Suplee215

The destruction of viltrim is crazy symbolic. The only thing that kept Nolan loyal to viltrim in season 1 was the idea of viltrim and going back home. He destroyed jt not just for himself bjt the entire species
