In regards to Ging. The reason I truly love HxH is because of the writing. The characters all have their own motivations and goals. Everyone isnt existing, just to be reformed by friendship or to assist the main characters. Ging is still the main character in his mind (selfishness) and that's interesting to me. He is a terrible father, because sometimes fathers are terrible.

They always seems to pick the shows that have bad dads as prominent characters. Or maybe that's just become a common writing choice. Either way, it's one of the reasons I really want them to watch Dr Stone, as it has arguably the BEST father in anime. 🥲

These final episodes, with the two sides to the plot (and the many characters involved in the election), cause a single episode to feel rather short 😔. I can only imagine how this was with the chapters releasing with great delays at this point in Togashi's health crisis.

Part of it could literally just be that ging(idk the first one) isn't *just* a bad father, like that's just one part of him yet theirs other fathers in other shows that the main thing about them is how awful of a person/father they are, for example fullmetal alchemist brotherhood... Your not gonna find anyone defending ect shou at all so ging "just" choosing to stay outta his kids life feels... Lighter, for lack of a better word, by a whole lot in comparison

Idk if you guys got a translated version of the flowchart Killua showed us but Ill do my best to here. Starting with the bottom left, the line going from butlers to butlers says "Vigilant". The line from the bottom left butlers to Kill says "trusts". The top left to Kill says "Responsible for", the line from Kill to the top left says "Bad against" . The line from top left to Alluka says "Depend on orders". While the line from them to Papa Zoldyck says "Loyalty", the inverse says "Supervises". The line from Papa to Kill says "High hopes", while the line going back to him says "Respects". The line from papa to Alluka says "wants to control", which is the same as the line from Illumi to Kill. The one going from Kill to Ill says "Wants to be free of", and the line from Ill to Papa says "give and take"(which is the same as Papa to Grandpa) The line from Gramps to kill says "Favors" and the one from him to butlers says "Supervises". The lines coming from Milluki both say "Obeys". The one from Kill to Mama says "Annoying" and her to him says "Doting". Her lines to Papa and Kalluto are both hearts for love, so is Kills to Alluka, and the last line from Kalluto to Alluka says "Envies"
