do you guys feel any different towards Aira after this episode?

Chris Collier

How does the Yokai’s backstory change your perception of how they come to be, and do you think this experience will have a permanent effect on Aira?

Andy

For a show that has been mostly comedic what are your thoughts on this episode? What are your thoughts on acrobatic silky after seeing her backstory?

Rey

Do you think airas personality will change after the events of this episode?

Reki

Hey guys. Long time viewer, first time commenter. After this episode, I'm curious what you guys think about Aira now that we see a very different side of her from what we saw in the previous episodes. Do you think she's viewed better in your eyes, or about the same?

robo

what expectations about ghosts and monsters does dandadan challenge through acrobatic silky’s story? do you think the supernatural beings in this series are meant to be villains, victims, or something in between? (hope y’all are doing okay after this one. ik i sobbed)

bearp

This is the question to ask after this episode lmao

HBelmont67

Given how goofy and outlandish Dandadan has been this far, did you think it had it in them to slow down and deliver such a brutally REAL sequence? Does this episode hange how you view the anime?

StorytellerDave

What did you think of the visuals and the way the music accentuated them in that painful final dance off of the rooftop amidst the stars? PS - They used real ballet moves for it

HBelmont67

If you'll excuse me, I need to call my mom, now. 😭

HBelmont67

Like, it was rotoscoped?

Z C

How do you feel about abrupt tonal shift for this episode were you expecting something like this from DanDaDan based on the previous episodes?

StorytellerDave

No afaik it wasn't rotoscoped, they just recreated the ballet moves.

What are your thoughts on the storytelling of Acro-Silky, a mother who lost her daughter, imprinting on Aira, a child who lost her mother? How do you see think Acro-Silky's passing will affect Aira moving forward?

Big Jebby

This was a rough one. The second half of this episode uses music to really elevate the emotion of the story being told. Did the instrumental impact you both at all and how important do you think a good song is when telling an emotional story? Also! The person responsible for the soundtrack to this series also did the soundtrack to Chainsaw Man!

Cyan_Sky9135

Do you have sympathy for Silky, even though she was kinda pushing dance lessons on her daughter? Thats very much implied by the way, its what I got from this episode.

Cyan_Sky9135

What do you think of the mixed media(using real life footage in animation) used in this episode? btw I could totally be mistaken about the irl footage. It could be really good animation too😅

Cyan_Sky9135

This is a personal experience question so apologies in advance lol The first time I saw this I thought Aira actually was the daughter of Silky. Can you see my confusion?
