With two episodes in what do you think of the idea about Humans (church monks at that) who seem to worship/revere and justify Dracula and his actions in the aftermath of his human extermination campaign?

After slaughtering the human guards, Isaac meets the Captain where they strike a mutual agreement to travel without fear. Two genuine interactions sandwiched between hatred.
