No, it isn't I'm afraid! OVA 1 (Lev Haiba's) is right after season 1, OVA 2 (is about the exams) is after ep. 3 of season 2! There is another one that is the episodes you're refering to ^^

I could be wrong, but I don’t think OVAs 1 & 2 are really required to watch. Sure, it’d be nice if they did, but the show still makes sense without them. Also, they can’t watch them anyways because those two OVAs never received an English dub.

well, if they don't want to or can't watch it because of the english dub it's okay, I didn't say it was mandatory! I thought it would be interesting to watch, mainly bcs of the presentation of Lev, but of course, the OVA's content usually isn't super necesary to watch to understand the show

As soon as Yachi's introduced, Kiyoko is much more talkative and emotive. She even reacts differently to Tanaka and Nishinoya's simping lol.

Yachi may be the stand-out this episode, but I also liked seeing more of the characters' extended family with Tanaka's older sister Saeko and Hinata's little sister Natsu. 💛🧡

We love Yachi! She’s one of my absolute favorites 🥹 I kin Yachi so much, because much like her, my brain and body can’t tell the difference between meeting someone new and a bear attack 😅 The humor this season is top notch too. “Watch out for strays? Stray what?! Bullets?!” that kills me everytime 🤣
