This was such an amazing ending, easily one of the best they've watched. 😭😭 Great reaction, on to Nocturne next week! Basically the Korra to 'Vania's Avatar: not the masterpiece it's predecessor was, but is still a great show.

The reactions of both of you were truly a sight to behold when you realized 1 why Trevor said in the previous episode to remember that Trefor is a terrible name and 2 that Trevor barely made it out alive

HBelmont67

It was also kinda foreshadowed even earlier, when Sypha and Trevor were fighting goblins in the tall grass and she crashed out "You did this to me!" 👀

Dracula being secretly alive is arguably better for the world. His soul cannot be found and used to do this again somehow. Any power that get too big and fulfill dracula role might be out off by mere rumors of him around. Itd also a nod to thr video games where dracula cannot be killed forever Every 100 years he either resurrects or cultists try to resurrect him. Thankfully belmonts are always around

There are so many complicated themes and feelings surrounding Hector and Lenore, but their final scene is nonetheless impactful. The way Lenore walked out to finally see the sun after 200 years, only to fade away looking at Hector, is definitely something.

This art came out around the time this show ended, I believe. The way Trevor and Sypha's child is holding Alucard's hair the way he held his mother's. 😭😭

Also, Konami just came out with a new Castlevania game surrounding Trevor and Sypha's daughter, Rose Belmont. 🥀

The reason why Hector did not try to stop Lenore more than that was what he said before she left: Be free. He had just freed himself, how could he ask her to remain in a cage?

Until our guy Julius finished the job

Still came back From the moon. Reincarination but still

I imagine the villagers seeing her first cry over Trevor then throw him to the ground being like "Sooooo... are we healing or killing him?"

New episode next Wednesday as in Nocturne?!

Graham

WOAH I HADN’T SEEN THAT BUT I’M OBSESSED. Look how Trevor cleaned himself up for the family portrait. 🥰

Graham

I liked Nocturne a lot but what I wouldn’t give for a direct sequel to this series centered around Isaac, and every once in awhile they cut back o the castle so we can see how our people are doing. I also really like the trope of a village that is custodian to ancient, secret knowledge, so I would’ve loved to see how the Belmont/Tepes castle town developed over the decades. Like think about how well educated/badass the kids raised there are going to be, I want to see Alucard giving children classes in bio-chemistry and Trevor and Sypha instructing the next generation of monster hunters and do-gooder magicians.

Rewatching is so fun because you see how obvious it is that Sypha is pregnant in season 4

Probably one of my favorite animated shows on reflection, now that I’ve had a chance to rewatch it y’all. I just love these characters, I want good things for them, I’m glad the ending delivered that. It was joyous.

We gotta ask some questions, then
