These look great, gotta catch a shot of the big one in the air though.

Oh man I'm so hyped. I have so many ideas for gameplay. Thank you and your team so much for making this awesome mod!

I am looking forward to a proper nomadic colony with real challenges. The default gravship is okay, but outside of the scenario, there's no reason to keep mobile (unless you're specifically running a nomadic ideology.)

So incomprehensibly excited.

I always play solo, and I really enjoy building a base on a graviship, with one main character and two servants (medic/scientist + cook/plant grower/minor errands). I love building a large royal graviship, with a throne room and a huge bedroom for my main lord. With this mod, it looks like I won't be able to play like I used to. I hope the graviship will be as good for solo RPG adventures as before. I'm very concerned about the need for more maintenance and a larger crew. At least give the option to choose two roles per character (a standard vanilla role, like an ideological leader, plus one role from your ship). I won't be able to assign all three ship roles; I don't have enough slots...

I couldn't find a place to post mod suggestions, but it would be cool if the solo adventure gameplay was improved, for example, a narrator who would only send raids to the location where the main character is (it's often inconvenient when your base is raided while you're away in a caravan). + For example, so that the ideology role doesn't take away the ability to work (we already have one main character, and the fewer the better). + Fixes for royalties so that you can become a solo Stellarch (+1-3 pawns) without a large settlement. + More convenient caravan management on the global map (so that you're not prompted to navigate from the main base). + Maybe some kind of carry weight bonus (there's often not enough space). I really like the Adventure mod for Dwarf Fortress. It's a shame it doesn't have one, but I'd like to see that kind of gameplay, without the emphasis on controlling a large colony.

You’re confusing ideological roles and gravship launch roles. One is unrelated to the other. Your moralist or colony leader can be the pilot, the engineer, the scientist too for the gravship launch. The Gravship ship class remains more or less the same. Works well with 3 colonists. You will be fine.

Looks great! Not sure if I've just missed it on previous, but was there starting scenarios included in this?

Oskar Potocki

We’re just editing the base game Gravship start. Not adding any new ones yet.

Good to know, however I like the "yet" dropped in there!

Are the other chapters going to be as extensive as this one? Or is this mod massive because it is providing all of the framework?

I also thought that it would be beneficial to have access to friendly doctors and hospitals (for implant installation and treatment). It would be advantageous to have a place to implant found genes. (Sometimes you come across cool genes as rare loot.) Then it would be more realistic to arrange pure solo gameplay. + Something could be done with research for solo play (for example, buying it or obtaining it passively from ancient bunkers/servers found, or by hacking enemy faction servers). It would be cool to visit friendly cities and find taverns, hospitals, and shops there (most importantly, hospitals). + Faster movement on the map if only the caravan is active. + Restoration of concentration during rest or travel (we can't meditate all day long). Solo gameplay also goes well with Gravship (as a small mobile base), but it still requires a small crew (this is not a big deal, as long as raids on this ship do not distract from the main character's gameplay).

The other chapters will be smaller but will likely take as much time as this one, as they will be introducing a lot more content

So, it seems that FTL inspired more than just the event system! ;) The one on the bottom left matches the 'Mantis' even in colour - that one seems obvious. To its right the 'Krestel'? The Gravjumper is probably too small to allow for a quotation, but if you really squint, you might be able to make out the 'Rock Cruiser'. Then there's the ship on the top right, which is basically the one you showed us all along. I don't recognise this one. Is it from a SciFi movie I am not nerdy enough to know? How close am I?

You should be able to continue to use your old save! There may be a few hiccups but nothing that won’t resolve itself automatically.
