Hey lovely patrons! I'm making my July tutorial this week, and I'd love your input on which topic to cover. This month I want to make the tutorial more focused around a specific technique or challenge, since the previous ones tended to become too generalized and long. I'd love to hear which one you'd like to see the most, and if you have any ideas for a future tutorial, feel free to drop it in the comments below!

Details and depth. 👌❤️

Jennifer Waring

Hard to choose, these all seem so very interesting! Decided to vote for the 'sculpting with color' one.

Anni Niunae

All three topics are brilliant, it was hard to choose. Ideally all three at some point ❤️

Aakanksha Sharma

Colour gives me the most trouble..so that option !

Cloud Cat

I would personally like to see how you go from a rough basis of color into more in depth detail where you taking into consideration on the planes and lighting. Also btw I love your work and I'm very happy with the tutorials and process videos so far thank you loish. 😊😊😊

Jeeb Ishak

either one of the colour options would be great 👍

Amélie

It's quite difficult to choose, the 3 are really interesting !

Rhien

sculpting with colour seems quite interesting, even though i would love to see all of them 😆

SV

Both the first option and the third one are super-interesting.

Feathergris

Sculpting with colour, but the three of them are so interesting to see. Maybe it would be nice for the future to see the rest. ☺️

Jehan Khonat

Love all the topics, but with regard to colour, I'm struggling particularly on procreate compared to Photoshop... I think it's the way the smudge brush functions or something. This might be an entirely different topic though haha Always look forward to the tutorials either way, thank you for making them!

Alecs Ștefănescu

All three topics are really interesting! I went with the skin tones tutorial. I've seen colours that I would not think of as "skin" colours used, time and time again, to give life and depth to a portrait, but I am struggling when I have to pick these colours myself.

Emily Cartier

I’m having horrible indecision, because all three topics feel like ones you could give strong classes on. And they all feel like ones that build on previous tutorial material. So I’m really hoping you’ll go for all 3 over the next 3-5 months! But I’ll vote for the one that’s lowest in votes at this time (action poses), in hopes of driving it towards a 3 way tie ;).

Roms

Chose the first option but honestly, all three are interesting! Also, hoping for more leaves and floral tutorials <3

kipheo

I'd love an in-depth tutorial of sketching and coloring faces/portraits. I know you've done some before too but I would love to see a new one.

Kat Craig

So hard to choose! I went with skin tones because I feel like I've struggled with this quite a bit. Would definitely love all three though!

AshesM

I love your gesture and your colors so I would have liked both but I went with action this time.

Side Shave Laura

I'd also be interested in social media, marketing, and networking tips. You've amassed a HUGE following, and yes you are a great artist, but that can't be the entire story!

Marieta-rita Osezua

I feel like there's a lot out there on action poses so I'd really like the other two. I voted for sculpting with color because i really admire how you use color. Thank you so much for making these tutorials!

Mac

Honestly I'm would be interested by the 3 tutorials ! Also I don't know if you'll see this comment but I would like to thank you Loish. This is my first time ever being a patron and the few of your tutorials I watched already helped me a lot so thank you !

Joshua Baker

Sculpting with color!! This is absolutely what I hope you get to show in more depth. That would be my first choice of topic if you asked me what I’d suggest off the top of my head.

Anonymous

Oh how I would love that third one but I'm interested in all of the tutorials

Sasalele

Maybe an idea for a future tutorial could be using squash and stretch in facial expressions? (if you havent done it already tho, I'm still new here and I havent watched all the tuts yet) I see a lot of character designers use it in their expression sheets and I saw you use it as well! I tried it but the faces just end up looking weird🤧 so a tutorial could be so helpful💕

Anab.gb

I hope you do all the tutorials, they are all very good 🥰

Maria Smigielski Art

I would like know see how you do a finish rendering as a tutorial

Geoff Hassing

I would love to see a tut on rendering 3 dimensional forms in 2 dimensional space. : )

Alex P

Great tutorials, Loish ! I wonder if you use the same type of process as in Sculpting With Color when you have to create something with more characters and 3 dimensional feel to it (foreground, background, etc). I mean , when you have to “break the flow” with more layers, etc.
