This month, I really need to reboot my creativity by coming up with some painting ideas! I did a lot of rough work and sketches in the last months, and after I got back from vacation I hadn’t drawn for a while and was completely out of new ideas. It’s been a while since I came up with some rough concepts to finalize and render later on, so here’s a whole batch of them, all exploring similar moody vibes! The black and white ones are all variations of the same idea, but I was thinking they could also work as a series.

Which one of these do you think I should finish first?

Third one!

Lalitha

Holy shit these are incredible 😩✨ Especially the black and white ones!

Sophie Meyer

They are all interesting and beautiful- but I would love to see how the series of the black and white ones would turn out! 😍

Storm ⚡

I'm already in love with all of them 😩

Melody

The second one and the third one are pretty!

Gale

The center and right B&W ones would look fantastic

Aline Cordeiro

I think the second one should be done first.

It’s unusual to see monochromatic paintings from you. It would be great to look at you thinking process when it’s just about values, not colors

Duck Duck Demon

The wave one is giving me feelings I can't place ❤️

Chris S

I love the third one of the black and white ones

Anska

It has been so hot recently that the blue wave is most appealing to me because just looking at it it feels so refreshing. 🌊

Kat Craig

I'm torn between the first and second ones. Monochromatic work would be amazing to see! After that one you did a couple of years back I instantly wanted to see more.

Steve Hilbert

These are great, and it could be a cool lesson to see how you handle coming up with ideas, even before thumbnailing.

Yurika

They're all so good!! Because it's been so hot here lately (☀️🌡️🫠), I'm most drawn to the person lounging (?) on the ocean wave. Whichever one you choose to work on first, we're looking forward to it! Hope you thoroughly rested on your vacation.

These are awesome! Yes I also vote for the ocean wave drawing, it's been so hot here in California! :) 🌊

I love all of them! but as I'm sitting here in my apartment on the fourth floor with the summer sun burning hot outside and no AC (because... old european buildings :D), I feel very much drawn to the wave concept

Nick Miulli

Wow, they’re all great! But I really like the one with the girl all bunched up on a black background and glints of light on her shoulders!

Ewa

Feeling like the black and white series is something new and different and I’d love to see it finished so much! But I also have a soft spot for the lady floating on the dark bg - looks so comforting, somehow! All of them are very inspiring ☀️

Kim

Oh I’m loving the black and white ones. So ethereal!

Clarissa

I Love them all *-* but most favorite maybe will be the 1st and 3rd girl from the first black and white sketches, they have perfect accent on cute face and amazing surrounding support for it. and they really feel pretty different from what you've been drawing most of the time(For me personally >.<)
