Artemis - DevLog (Patreon)

Happy Monday!

Productive and mostly boring pose/render routine. The not boring part of my week though was chatting with Stew (STWAdev), Unbroken dev. Like Lexi, there's stages of the crossovers. Introducing them into Artemis' universe, causally setting them up and their payoff within the story.

The crossover is exclusive to Naomi's path as it involves her. I've mentioned this a few times, so I'll keep it short. But crossovers for Artemis have them weaved into the storyline or subarc. Since CH1, INK needed entertainment. Originally it was just gonna be Kink showing up. Drifty was the first developer I befriended in this community. So, I tweaked that sub arc to have Kink perform with Lexi.

The crossovers is always about the characters coming in to help in a way that fits their role in their own universe. So, I'll let you guys speculate on Unbroken's crossover.

And then on the final chapter of Artemis, Kindra will activate the multiverse portals and all the characters will return to aid Artemis in her final battle.

Kidding on the last part....maybe.I mention this because comment was left last week asking about cameos and I wanted to address it. Currently, I have no plans for Amanda from CS. When I get together with devs to discuss, we share what's going to happen in our respective stories. StoneFox shaped theirs how they wanted. The characters I chose will be at the McCreed Expo in CH9 and they'll be part of a specific character's path as well.

Just a little update/reminder how crossovers work in Artemis.

Speaking of, next Saturday, the 31st, is Artemis' birthday. Been awhile since I've done a special render. Expect one then!
