The Red Knight certainly deserved a chapter named after him after that showcase. Having Izuku figure out what the torches do was a nice use of the whole show don't tell approach even if he actually vocalized it. Although to be fair I don't blame you since it was a nice way to clarify things. As for the new skills he got, imbuing One for All into weapons was rather simple and I don't think I ever seen some like that before so it can also be original. I honestly am surprised that I personally never thought about it. As for things I did think about, that shade skill he got definitely has potential even if the start was rather rough. Also you refer to it as Yoichi at one point so you might want to look into that. At this point that could either be an honest mistake or getting ahead of yourself?
