Another quick update for My Hero Leveling. Chapter 17, An Intern in Training, is here, everyone!

Have a good time reading! This chapter mostly focuses on Izuku's first few days at the Draw Sword Guild, where he trains with their members while also getting the chance to interact with them and build his relationships with the people around him, including a certain girl who was introduced in the previous chapter.

This is actually something I wish I had done better with Dragon Leveling: more focus on the relationships and interactions between the protagonist and the characters around him. Hopefully, I have done a better job of that this time around while keeping Izuku as in-character as I can.

As always, thank you for all the reviews and support. I really appreciate every single one of them. Please enjoy the chapter!

Make sure to leave me a heart and a review once you have finished reading, and I will see you really soon in the next one.

Peace!

My Hero Leveling Ch.17

We all know how the story started. Izuku Midoriya was born Quirkless, but became the inheritor of One for All after All Might saw in him the potential to become the greatest hero the world had ever known. But in this version of My Hero Academia, the world was not only plagued by the rise of super...

Nice chapter. And I noticed Izuku hit that System growth spurt.

We have been getting quite a bit of My Hero Leveling. I don't have a problem with that since the story feels like it's really picking up considering the diversions from the norm. Izuku has his new costume and I was happy to see that he got new gloves to be used with gauntlets as well as shoes with better traction as a result of his experiences during his quest. He's also gotten some training when it comes to hand-to-hand combat and he certainly impresses with his strength. He also gets to see the armory where all sorts of weapons are had and even if nothing comes from it just yet, the concept of picking up the sword has brought up. With the Advent of monsters and the like it makes sense that weapons are used in conjunction with whatever works and skills the heroes who go and have. My favorite part was easily The talk Izuku had with Nejire. Not only do they get to find out more about each other but Izuku also manages to get information on her in his notebook. I think that the gun is new but it makes sense that Nejire would have some support gear too supplement her quirk use. Especially in this type of environment. That and I appreciate the contrast that's brought up between hero work and gate work. With how dangerous and lethal the gates are with monsters that want to kill humans it is safe to say that not many heroes would want to take a chance with that even if heroism is pretty dangerous as is. The contrast between other humans and monsters really is all the explanation that is needed. Anyway before Izuku can got more into potential sword training an A rank gate appears and we can already see how the guild responds. Izuku is not allowed to join in for understandable reasons so instead he helps out with the evacuation. So yeah, pretty good stuff overall. And I saw what you said regarding learning lessons from your DxD story and applying them here and I have to agree with that. But in your defense I think that you are getting better with that in the other story. Especially during this most recent arc.
