Marvel Rivals got me and Leslie back into a general Marvel kick now that we remembered that we actually did like these characters once upon a time. We've started rewatching the original X-Men cartoon, been reading more comics, and even watched a few Marvel movies we missed - namely the two other MCU Spider-Man movies. No Way Home was pretty good! Centering the plot more around trying to rehabilitate old villains was really unique, and the ending was pretty haunting. Extremely fun, surprisingly emotional movie.

I know people rag on MCU movies for being shot kinda flat and boring in comparison to something like the Sam Raimi Spider-Man movies, but I dunno. I feel like there's some strengths unique to these MCU movies that still make them just as worth watching. The connected worlds, the performance of the acting, the unique stories, and even just the way various directorial touches seep through. They're not all good by any means, but I think there's still some value to 'em.

That's all for now, though! See you on Friday!

I think Suria is about to make her dreams come true!

Quadrant

I really hope Suria can handle this occasion. There seems to be anxiety creeping in a bit towards the end.

Swingers club confirmed! Glad you guys are having fun with Marvel again. If you need a third for Rivals....

A Guy

I mean, if you're re-watching the old X-men cartoon, the next logical step is to watch X-men '97 (if you haven't already). It's far better than one would expect such nostalgia bait to be. -AND- like a proper X-men story, it's horny on main.

Kam Kam

Just tried out Wolverine in Rivals. He’s a funny character to play, especially against tanks😂💀💀💀! Love how this story is progressing too! Looks like things have come nearly full circle for the gang❤️

Changeling Moth

I stg Johnson better peg this man before this show is over.
