Bad week for news in general, but also video game news. Got back into Nikke, only to see the CEO push AI gen in an article (and then discovered a presentation by him touting AI gen usage in the creation of Nikke characters). The new Fatal Fury game already was in shit because of its guest characters, but now they've announced their new season with an AI generated trailer. I already uninstalled Marvel Rivals over its own blatant AI art usage in the recent holiday stuff, and then Cygames announced its own whole AI studio. Feels like no matter how much pushback there is, companies still keep trying to force this stuff in.

Ah well. Warframe's been a lot of fun, I got a ton of indie games to play, and I set up a whoooole lot of emulators on my PC. If this is how new major releases are gonna be, I'm just gonna stick to indies and classics. My most anticipated game this year right now is actually a fan translation of Segagaga on the Dreamcast.
