Still making my way through Warframe. I've just finished The Sacrifice questline, which had some really interesting stuff in it. A lot of what I can describe about Warframe is "it's got some interesting stuff in it". Nothing particularly amazing, but interesting. I'm... not as keen on the inclusion of the Operator character, and the quest to unlock the Railjack was excruciatingly boring and tedious. But the moment it starts to get really boring to the point where I think I might be done, it pulls something genuinely intriguing that makes me want to see where it's going. According to Leslie, I'm now at the part where "shit REALLY starts to get cool", so let's see what Prelude to War has in store.

That's it for today, though! Thank you all so much for your support, and see you on Friday!

She was just praying for Seth. Praying very hard.

EnterTheHero

Oh, Georgie... It's sweet of you, but you REALLY don't need to worry about her.

Huge Cook

Well, he might be about to learn something new.

Rural Bibliophile

I appreciate his consideration but he's probably going to need some time to process the updates.

Shane Cyberdragon

Its a relief to see Georgie actually care deeply about her.

NitroNick9000

Ah, it's real sweet to see Georgie asking about her. He really respects and cares about her

Michael Butchin

Awwww, Georgie really cares! That's so sweet-- but, Dakota...don't go pouring all the tea just yet. Let Lizzie do that herself. Just let him know she's okay, looked after, and safe.

Quadrant

Cut to Lizzie getting the time of her life in 3... 2... 1.... 😂 It's sweet to see Georgie care, kinda like a brotherly level of care. Not sure it's Dakota's place to explain what Lizzie has been upto, only answer for him to say is "yeah she's been good. She's grown" and leave it there. Lizzie can share as much as she wants

Just a Jinx

Warframe is fun. And I can't get passed Georgie's name. Wanna float?

I love the concern. this comic is more than a spank book. much like Alfie by InCaseArt, ita got a whole hell of a lot of heart. the characters feel like people ive met and known over the years. I really dig the art style and the layouts are great. everything moves from panel to panel seamlessly. thats something I could never get down in my scripts and why I need to find an art team that can better help me with my vision, but damn if it ain't expensive. I spent $3k on an ashcan and another $4k getting the first issue penciled. and I still havent found an artist with the right feel.

Ben Burch

He actually likes her!

Man, can I just say that Dakota for the love of god **do not tell Lizzie that Seth KNEW all this time.** As for Warframe, yeah, I personally feel that Sacrifice is where things really start to ramp up or at the very least, it builds upon the Operator as a character more than what you experience in Second Dream, but to each their own. I must know though, did you choose Wrath, Acceptance, or Emptiness? As for the Railjack, I assume that Leslie has informed you (assuming they were playing prior) that it used to be much more tedious and long winded. That was part of the game's low points, sadly. Looking forward to hearing about your thoughts on the events of The New War and what comes after. As an aside, what Frame do you and Leslie main? Hell, come to think of it, I'd kind of be curious to see "Protoframe" variants of the cast. Temple seems as good a fit as any for Suria, I could see Steg as Grendel or perhaps Atlas, but I'd certainly not be against seeing original concepts if the fancy takes you folks. (Forgive me, my special interest is Warframe, I cannot help myself)

Just a Jinx

I'd be concerned if you did. It's just what my mind connects it to

The Operator did start to grow on me with The Sacrifice, but I also just really liked being this sort of "Ghost in the Machine" rather than a set character controlling other machines. Felt like I could roleplay a bit more that way, but I'm interested to see what they do with them! And yeah, both Railjack and Duviri Paradox I'm aware went through some major changes. Leslie keeps bouncing around frames to really have a favorite, but the ones they bounce around the most are Koumei, Ember, and Nova. Me, I saw someone sell Gauss Prime for cheap and beelined that because I try to recreate Sonic Man in every online game that gives me character customization (at least until I think of a different character I want to RP as. For FFXIV, it's Shinra Middle Manager, and for Street Fighter 6 it's a heel sumo wrestler named D. Toyota as examples). For Rock Cocks though... I think Clover and Dakota would be the only ones on the bus into the game, sadly. Dakota would play Xaku, and Clover would play Grendel and constantly spam chat with things like "I'm da Grundel" and "It's Grundel time"

Brad and Leslie Brown

Oh, and I picked "Emptiness" because that sounded the most interesting for that particular quest.

Justin Wood

That's fair and I understand that desire. Also, I can't believe I actually called Dakota playing Xaku but I felt it would be too on the nose 🤣

Hal

It's nice to see such caring from Georgie. New War is where the Warframe story finally locked in for me. It's when I went from 'ill play wf from time to time when I'm bored' to 'oh I'm actually getting invested.'

Kam Kam

Oh they’re treating her verry right❤️
