Okay, so Pokopia is incredible. I knew from the start that this was certainly going to be a good game because I was lucky enough to get sucked into Dragon Quest Builders 1 and 2. Those games were fantastic, with great systems and a surprisingly moving story for both. I'm not the biggest Pokemon fan, but I figured that if it even tackled a fraction of what the DQB games did, then it'd be fun. But surprise... I think this might be far better than both of those games. The lack of combat opens up even deeper building and infrastructure in ways I just never thought was possible for a game like this. It's just such a deeply chill, relaxed, but intricate game, presenting several lil' projects for you to tackle in whatever way you see fit, while giving you plenty of breathing room to do what you want in-between. I really, REALLY love this game so far, and I'm pretty confident I'll love it even more by the end.
