New page! Click here to catch up!

WOOF, this page was a STRUGGLE. It was fun to do of course, but not only are my teeth sensitive as HELL from that dentist trip, Leslie's been SUPER congested with this weather change and sudden surge in some pollen we aren't used to. Poor Leslie's choking over at their desk. Any recommendations for a good decongestant that isn't a nasal spray? We've never found anything that works for us.

Other than that though, pretty uneventful week. Just a lot of work and sumo watching. Great sumo tournaments this basho! Unbelievably sick Ura win last night. We also got next month's rewards figured out and I think you'll REALLY like 'em. Channeling a particular obsession into some spooooky rewards~

That's it for today, though! Thank you so much for your support, and see you on Friday!

HELL YES, NAKED ON STAAAAAAAAGE Ugh, I hate dentist trips. I've had both bottom wisdom teeth removed, AND a tooth on the top right that had a cracked filling. Dentist trips are never fun. My sympathy goes out to you.

Any recommendations i have for nasal spray wont work though, as I'm in Australia. I use a pharmacy brand here that works wonders. They tend to be the better ones.

Also, a good method of decongesting would be to use the Johnson & Johnson vapor bath as well as putting some of their vapor rub under the nose and on the chest. Warm soups should also help open the sinuses

Distilled water and a neti pot has often helped me- It has to be distilled water, though; mustn't have any contaminants. Maybe hold your head over a saucepan of boiling water first, for the steam to open you up. And then, make sure to have a box of Kleenex once you do the nasal lavage. Also, eat lots of kimchi!

The Puertorrican solution to a cold/congestion is usually insane amounts of Vicks vapor rub. Slap some of that on your temple, chest, elbows and bottom of your feet (wear some socks) and watch that mucus fly out. My grandmother used to combine this with chicken soup and she added some of her homemade hot sauce (I vaguely remember that shit was made of those tiny peppers that she pickled with something else, and was clear colored. Those tiny peppers were lethal and she kept it glass liquor bottles) that could probably peel paint off walls. Your digestive system would probably be destroyed, but no more mucus. Its a miracle my sister and I are alive with that combo. That said, I still recommend the vicks. If you do the soup, I recommend some milk on the side to neutralize the heat.

First, I am greatful and ready for upcoming Suria cake lol, Second, I like to think that pose that Clover is doing is a reference to the intro of Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken!

with regard to pollen allergies, I've always historically taken one pill of Zyrtec daily during peak seasons (March/April to September) to Be Ahead of the flare-up potential... I only needed it during the spring, and was able to stop until August when the ragweed/grass pollen got bad I also use air purifiers in my apt (Levoit is good!) and wear an N95 outside during that timeframe (I wear em inside too, but wearing them outside helps immensely too). I haven't had post-nasal drip / coughing since 2022 that way! With regard to decongestants though, Mucinex has been good for me!
