Coming This Week to Digital Foundry (Week 16, 2025) (Patreon)
Content
Hello there and welcome to the latest update from Digital Foundry or more specifically, 'what we are up to this week' in the wake of this morning's #content meeting. John's still on vacation this week, returning next, but we still have a bunch of things happening, so let's dig in.
Rich (ie me) is currently benchmarking a bunch of 60-class GPUs in preparation for the RTX 5060 Ti review. I'll also be contributing to the Switch 2 hands-on DF Direct Special we're planning in the wake of the London event that Tom and I attended last week.
Tom will also be contributing to the DF Direct Switch 2 hands-on #content, of course, but his primary task will be in reviewing Indiana Jones and the Great Circle for PS5 and PS5 Pro.
Oliver will not only be contributing to - and indeed editing - the DF Direct Switch 2 hands-on special, he's putting together a quick video on the changes made to the PS5 Pro version of Assassin's Creed Shadows. Beyond that, he's also been doing some exploratory work on testing frame generation on Steam Deck and ROG Ally.
Alex loves PC gaming and specifically, loves RTS titles - something we don't get to cover so much on Digital Foundry. That changes this week as he takes a look at Tempest Rising - a brand-new RTS built on Unreal Engine 5.
Will continues to brilliantly represent us on Eurogamer via article adaptations and original #content. Those giant benchmarking articles? That's all on him!
There's quite a lot going on with titles like Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Days Gone Remastered and Forza Horizon 5 on PS5 - but we don't have visibility on any of those games yet. We're looking forward to them all, of course, but in the meantime, that's everything we've got for you.
Please feel free to ask questions and suggest things for us to look at but for now, have a great week!
