Hi everyone, per the Call For Questions post on Thursday, the combination of SGF happening on Friday night in combination with Oliver working on his Mario Kart World review means that DF Direct Weekly #217 early access will be later than usual. But how about a little bonus material in the meantime?

So, how does Cyberpunk 2077 on Switch 2 compare both in terms of visuals and performance to the PS4 version? As just one part of his investigation, Tom did the legwork and here are the raw assets to look at. Expect to see much more - including Series S comparisons - in the full review next week.

That's seriously impressive to me that there Switch 2 seems to deliver a pretty smooth 30fps. How is it for frame pacing? And I hope to learn how well the DLSS is working and what it's working with as an original resolution and what it's upscaling to? Does connecting to a 1440p screen offer any performance benefit?

Comparisons to the Steam Deck are to me at least more interesting. Two current generation handhelds competing seems more relevant than a modern system Vs one from ancient times.

Thanks for the video! I'm guessing this is docked performance for the switch? I'd love to see with how it compares with the ps4 professional :)

Awesome. Id love to see how it holds up against Steam Deck and other handhelds, but when in it's docked configuration as an apples to apples comparison. How to the graphics settings hold up against the "steam deck" preset?

It looks much better than both. This should be compared against the series s, honestly

Id be surprised if in hand held mode it looks better than something like an ROG Ally when it's pulling the max wattage

How wide is the gap between desktop quality mode and handheld quality mode?
