Coming This Week to Digital Foundry (Week 31, 2025) (Patreon)
Content
Hello there, how are you doing? We had depleted numbers at the Digital Foundry #content meeting this morning as Alex is taking a well-earned vacation this week. Meanwhile, we have some rejigging of the schedule to do as everyone finished their projects last week, meaning we have nothing lined up for the next couple of days beyond the Direct.
Still, let's talk about the week ahead.
Rich (ie me) is hoping to complete the Cyberpunk Switch 2/last-gen/Series X head-to-head I've been touting for some time. The data is done, scripting is in progress. I hope to have this done in the next couple of days.
Tom is working on Wuchang: Fallen Feathers on consoles. There's a fair bit of controversy surrounding the PC version, which we may address in this week's Direct since it seems to be a bit of a moving target at the moment in terms of patches. Beyond that, the classic embargoed #content - but we are looking at compiling a list of Switch 2 titles that shift rendering resolutions according to system settings. We're up to four, possibly five confirmed games now.
John continues to work behind the scenes on the next DF Retro episode, looking at Tony Hawk Pro-Skater 3+4, but will be taking a very short break from that to look at a shorter project - again, likely retro focused.
Oliver will be reviewing the Mac Studio with M3 Ultra - but is also keeping an eye on No Man's Sky on Switch. Something seems to be up with the handheld modes there which we've reported to Hello Games in the hope of a fix.
Will is right now working on our weekly Eurogamer blog post based on DF Direct (I'm a bit busy for this one) and it'll be focusing on the baffling Oblivion Remastered 1.2 update, which per the Direct, doesn't seem to do anything on consoles.
As usual, if anything catches your eye, do let us know in that invitingly empty comments box below, but for now, have a great week!
